For rapid rooters, you have to peel off the outer skin? I'm not too familiar with those.

Not that I’m aware of. I really appreciate your help. I’m going to partially agree with you that I probably put too much nutes in too early. From what I’ve been reading with ro water is to add cal/mag up to 150 or so ppm’s with ph at about 6.0 until roots appear and have extended to the water then add the nutes at 40% strength based on the chart. I’ll keep a close eye on them and hope they pull through.

No, rapid rooters don't have anything on them that needs to be taken off. You just put the seed in the hole and keep the rapid rooter moist and they usually come up within a few days. I like them a lot honestly. And even though they usually come in bulk, you can put the rest in a freezer bag and freeze them for later. I was using 4 at a time so I separated them into separate ziploc bags (4 each) and put them in a freezer bag, cause they tend to freeze together. Hope that helps.
