The first one is definitely showing root issues, second one looks like healthy roots for a smaller plant. I’d change the reservoir for the 1st one, clean the bucket, air line tube, and air stone. Maximum strength Hydroguard in the new reservoir.Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!
