    Bloom vs Veg setting

I am into week 2.5 of flower and the girls are starting to pop. I’m wondering what is the best way to use my “bloom” “veg” switches on the lighting. I have a few cfls included as well. Should I leave the veg switch on to give some blue light, or am I better off leaving it off and only using the bloom setting?

Turn both switches on during flower.

My Vipar says both switches for flower. In fact it says both switches for vegging when no longer considered "young".

I run my viperspectra 600's on Veg and Bloom all the way through my grow. Hasn't seemed to bother them one bit. But definitely both for flower.

I always use both. Veg or bloom. Seems to be faster growth during vegg with both on.

There can be advantages to using one or the other. To get the full potential from full spectrum you need both switches. Also more light the better. I've found that one switch does not equal half power, veg is usually slightly less than half of your total power draw. I run viparspectra v450 both veg and bloom on start to finish, pay attention to hight and watch for light burn

You do not want to run just the bloom switch ever-as the veg switch controls the fan, which needs to be on all the time.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!
