    My plant is on heroin....

Just had to share this frustrating ass plant!! In case you are wondering the strain 1024 has really weak stems genetically and this is the result! My f'ing plant looks like it's on heroin! Next time i need some silica cause trying to deal with a limp plant is like trying to move a passed out drunk. It's healthy other than that. Just sucks when i have to check res ph and do res changes cause i have to undo and redo the yo-yo's. She's coming down Tuesday cause i am tired of dealing with her!!!

Lol thanks. It takes me a good 10-20 min to put the plant back up and that is hell on my knees! The last time i grew this strain it did a lean as well so im thinking it genetically is weaker in the stems and if i grow it again i will have to get silica. Great smoke tho!

That's the reason I finally put up some trellis netting. I used the yo-yo's for a couple of years and I've found that the netting works better for me.

Get 4 stakes, like the green plastic tomato stakes, put them around your plant and tie a string around it making a cage.

Good for you for not trying to straighten all the buds! It's like supercropping.
Which brings me to my last grow and my experience with what you have going on. My longer stems had to be tied to a simple trellis I had or they would fall over. My little GWE search said a calcium or boron deficiency might be the issue. It didn't do anything to the buds themselves. I'm going with boron because I was using CalMag and have no idea about boron. Twisty tying or garden taping a chopstick splint style to straighten stems I have broken in person has worked well. Leave the benders you didn't see bend.
        C'mon, mule!

Tersky You think the copper wire method I used in another thread could help? The only downside is that cannabis stems grow thick and fast meaning the copper might choke the branch, but you don't have to make it tight. I use a pencil to wrap the wire around it then stretch it out. This makes a natural extended coil shape. you then wrap the branches around it.

You can also check with Orchid stores. They tend to sell a lot of supplies and tools for propping up plants.

Thanks guys, i wasnt really looking for solutions as she is getting cut down on tuseday. I have a tomato cage that i can modify if this happens again but this is the only strain i have ever had an issue with and im out of those seeds. Just wanted to vent some frustration!

I had a floppy plant last grow, turned out to be the best smoke. Wish I'd had tried it before i killed the mother plant, lol. It just became a hassle to move and I said enough.

I know alltatup. She's close to harvest anyways. I never expected much from her so the fact she has any buds is ok with me. I also have to clear out that tent so i can move my solo test cups into bigger pots and into the tent. Decided to make some bonsai mother plants with the bag seed i was using. Plus, i have another tent full of plants in flower. She was there to get me back into the swing of things. Side note, i had a couple tops break off cause of the weak stems and have been curing for a few days and that stuff is pretty strong despite how the buds look.
