Love it how the fan base is now a stand! It's not an oscillating fan, but this is the one I grabbed. It has a stand, that can be exchanged for a clip.Comment

If I were you, I would buy some 1/2" internal diameter hose, Cut a 2" length, slice it lengthwise. Slip that over the leg, and clamp onto that rubber tube. That would protect your leg from being marred, and crushed.Originally posted by Anuenki View Post
Something I've done is make an "L" shaped thing with 1x4 wood. I use "u clamps" (muffler clamps. It's like a U, with threads on each end. A flat piece goes over the end of the U, and nuts tighten that down against the muffler pipe.). I slip 1/4" or 3/8" rubber tube over the "U" bolt to protect the tent legs.
