Bears, Amnesia, Trainwreck - grow 9

It seems like I was just writing the start of grow 8 a week ago, and I'm already starting grow 9. Grow 8 started with a hiccup or two, but finished out smoothly. I still have my Jock Horror in the tent from grow 8, but she should be down in less than a month.

So while I wait for her to finish, I figured I would get started on my next one. Here's everything I'm using:

    4 - 55w autocobs
    3g pots
    3*3*6 tent
    Silica blast/Calmag
Megacrop base nutrient along with sweet candy
For the flower booster, I'm trying Crystal Burst this round for some, and bud explosion by megacrop for others.

    Methods:

    Quadlining
    Defoliating

    Strains:

Sweet Trainwreck auto by Sweet Seeds
    Auto Amnesia XXL by Dinafem
    3 Bears OG by Mephisto

I've grown all these before, so it will be a throwback grow (possibly a growback?) The 3 Bears I grew ended up being pulled because it had a bad case of fungus gnats larvae and ended up with nanners. It was a shame because it was looking so good, so I'll be excited to finally try it.

The other 2 I have grown successfully (multiple times with the train wreck), and really enjoyed both strains.

Thanks for stopping in, and I hope you enjoy the grow.

And for all you office fans out there, yes, the title is a nice little homage to Jim impersonating Dwight 😁

Today is day 14 for the girls. They are doing very well at the moment, and each one has a different structure.

Quadlining will probably begin next week sometime. All of the stems are a little taller than I would like them to be at this stage, but I had to keep the lights higher than normal so I wouldn't burn the big girl in the tent.

        Have a great week everyone.

Today is day 22 for the girls.

They could be healthier, but there is a reason why they aren't looking the greatest. The Jock Horror that was almost ready last week had spidermites. Upon finding this info out I took the jock out of the tent and chopped her. Then I went to the store and picked up some mighty wash to spray on these girls.

Over the past week I have been checking these ones with a Jewelers loupe and haven't seen any spidermites on these girls, but I'll still be checking for quite a while. I forgot to spray water on the girls a few days after spraying the mighty wash (those were the instructions on the bottle), so some of the leaves looked a little sickly. Most of those leaves are gone now because I have began training them using the quadline method.

For everything they have been through so far, they aren't looking as bad as I expected. Hopefully they will make a full recovery.

          Have a great day everyone.

For a mild infestation/control, you could try predator mites. I got some for my clones just in case and as long as spidermites aren't established they work well.

What a shame about your Jock Horror, she was looking great!
            Was she from Mephisto?
I still think your RedPoison, was one of the prettiest plants, I ever seen on here, lol

Hey D.A.A.S.69 ! Thanks man! The Jock was a Nirvana seed through seedsman. It was pretty close to harvest anyway, I just wanted her to go another week or 2.

Ahh, the red poison. I still have a seed left, maybe that will be part of my next grow 😁

Today is day 29 for the girls. They are all starting to look much better. I've still been checking daily for spider mites and I haven't seen any yet.

All of the girls have shown their sex within the past couple days.

The Amnesia XXL is by far the healthiest looking plant in the tent. She has an excellent quadline structure, close to ideal.

The Trainwreck is looking pretty good. She has a lot of nodes, and I may end up cleaning her up a little bit.

The 3 Bears OG is looking better than it was a week ago, and looking like she might recover. The leaves are starting to look healthier, I'm hoping I'll get to try her this time.

Can't wait to see some buds!

On a side note, my wife and I bought a baby grand piano off of Facebook market place for $200! It's from the 1930s, and we have someone coming to tune it today at noon. Super excited!

          Have a great week everyone!

Jarhead, now I know why you were going to off some tools for a song, you needed lessons.. Lol.
Mc, very nice grow you've going, I was very interested in the Train Wreck because from what I have read it's a bit of a tricky one to raise. Just wanted to say hey to Jarhead and thanks to Mc for the information and the pictures. I wish the best for everyone and I hope you're all having a very chill day ✌️

Anyone else have their beans from Seedsman confiscated from customs? I will say it was a bummer, but from the looks of it on paper they are trying to do me right. I ordered my Blueberry Og ,3 beans, and they kicked me back another 7 beans but didn't tell me what. Kinda hoping and I know this is all it will be, but would love to get my hands on some Wifi Og. Have you ever grown that strain Mc? Jarhead? Anyone.. Lol? Sorry for any grammar issues, I think I was better without autocorrect.

Thanks dude! I had 5 jock horror seeds confiscated. I got ahold of seedsman and they resent them. The 2nd batch did show up.

I've never heard of that strain, but it sounds good. As for the Trainwreck, I've grown at least 3 plants without any issue. These are Sweet Trainwreck auto from sweet seeds, not the photoperiod version.

Today is day 35 for the girls. The stretch has started! The Amnesia XXL is the best looking girl in the tent right now.

The Trainwreck is looking very good and has very short node spacing.

I need everyone's help with the 3 Bears OG though. I think I have a Hermie. I see hairs, but I feel there's a few spots that look like the start of balls. What does everyone think?

I don't want to pull it, but I have no problem doing so if it's a Hermie.

With much chagrin I pulled the 3 Bears OG. She was a Hermie, and I found a nice set of balls on her.

With that in mind, the lineup has changed.

            Six Shooter by Fastbuds
            Kush Auto (I think seedsman)

And I still have the other 2 going strong.

So we are at day 36 for the older 2, and day 1 for the new girls.

One reason it's nice to grow autos. Having different phases in the same tent.

            Have a great week everyone.

My very limited understanding is that six shooter grows BIG but maybe takes a little more time? I could be wrong about that, tho. Bet you’ll get great yields off of her.
