I took two months creating manifold on three plants grown in soil. The leaves started curling. The only pictures I could find that matched the way my plants were curling was root rot. I used a product to help good fungal growth (Recharge) I over watered too. I through out fabric pots got new soil (Ocean Forest) cleaned tent out using Clorox Cleanup. I just replant new plants into 7 gallon fabric pots. Now one plant is showing same type of curling. I have had two very succesful grows already. I don’t understand what else I’m doing wrong? 2’x4’ tent 6” ducting fan, 600 watt metal halide light. All three plants showing some yellowing. I used cheap soil to grow sprouts. I can only hope they will turn around now they are in Ocean Forest soil. Any advice or thoughts are welcome. Thanks everyone.

Root Rot?

Do you have the plants on risers? You say you overwatered, do you mean water until runoff? Do the plants sit in the excess water or do you remove excess immediately? How frequently are you watering and how much do you normally water? What size are the pots that the plants are in? Root rot can happen in any chosen medium, but it always happens for the same reason, the root system wasn’t healthy and vibrant. I ask the questions above because in soil a healthy root system needs to dry out a bit in order to breathe, they also need ample soil to stretch into.Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!
