    Lighting question

So my plants have gotten much bigger than I anticipated. Like a foot and a half bigger than my grow room can really handle. The sides of my plants and lacking light. I have a spare 4 foot, 2 bulb t8 fixture kicking around. My question is could I hang this next to my plants to give them some extra light or would this be a waist of time or even cause some type of stress to the plants?

I know it’s common to supplement with side lighting, tho I’ve never needed to myself. I’m sure your girls will benifit from it.

That's what I was thinking too. Just not sure if the different spectrum would have any negitive effects

Side lighting is not does nothing for the grow overall.

Think about an outside grow, where there is UNLIMITED light on the entire plant coming from all directions as the sun travels across the sky.

The bottom branched buds still remain small.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Depending on where she's at in the grow cycle, you could trim the side branches not getting light and allow all the energy to go to the well-situated colas under the light.
