So heres another update. Baby A is doing great and is continuing to recover. Everyday i see new growth and color returning. Baby B started to bounce back but she took a turn for the worse again. I dont know whats wrong. From what i read it might be a nitrogen problem because of the claw leaves. They are both in the same soil, the same ph water, the same humidity, the same everything so im not sure why she wont make a come back like baby A. But she is still growing little by little.

    Hi drunkin

Looks like a water thing on the right , it is coming back but don't water right in the middle do a circle around where the farthest leaves reach like a lite rain would water it.

Hello everyone i have great news. The babies are doing great. Baby A is continuing to grow with no problems. Its amazing how fast she is growing. Baby B is doing great also. Shes making a come back and has been having a good steady growth rate. Its amazing how she bounced back. Shes not 100% back but she is on her way. I havent made any real adjustments. Everything was basically the same. Except for i took the ph back down to 6.0 and baby B seems to enjoy it.

They are looking great Hatchy. You are well on your way. I agree with Karlee about watering. Keep in mind how small the roots are. They don't need a lot of water, they just need to be kept moist.

After reading over and over ive realized that. The babies get watered about every 2 1/2 days. Water at 6.0 and very little water. The last watering i did, i poured around the leave and not directly at the stem. They seemed to enjoy that better. Ive been waiting till its dry about an 1in and a half from the surface before watering also. Im writing everything down too so i dont make the same mistakes twice.

Drunkin, I pulled over the center cola so you could see how I've been bending and training each cola as it emerged. Then you can see looking down on all of 'em how they are making that "flat table" on top to help growth and access to light stay even on all colas.

They are looking great. Ill look into those ties you showed me. Did you do any topping or did you just tie down everything?

No topping!! Just training. I have a smallish grow box--28 x 28" and I get the impression that you need a big space for manifolding. I might try that with one or two of my Grinspoon seeds when they arrive...

Back with another update. Sorry its been so long ive been very busy lately.

So baby A is doing great as always. I might start training her soon.

Baby B is better but still small. I probably wont train or mess with her at all. I think shes been through alot so i just want to let her grow at her own pace.

It definitely is amazing. Im very proud.

And thats what i started to assume about baby b. Im just going to let her do her own thing. Ill just water and make sure shes comfortable. But baby a ill lst. No topping or anything like that. Just tie her down here and there as she gets bigger.

Im already putting together ideas for the next grow but not much because my main focus are these 2.

Alright i did a little lst on baby A, not much because i still dont really know what im doing. But enough to get light to the inside leaves. Hopefully im doing it right. Any tips and suggestions would be great.

I didnt do nothing to baby B but took pics so she didnt feel left out.

Sorry ive been away for awhile but heres another update. Baby A is doing great like always. She had a hair cut a few days ago and it didnt seem to affect her. Shes small but doing awesome. Baby B is still growing but damn she is stubborn. She makes improvements then right back to where we left off. I think im just going to let her do her own thing. I dont want to bother her any more so water when needed and thats it. At this point i dont know what she wants, ive done everything i can think of. At this point im starting to think its just her.

Drunkin, I don't know about kind soil: is it supposed to give nutrients through the entire grow?? I would imagine not, and that your babies are small because they are underfed. I know you don't have a lot of money, but if you want to try to get fat buds, you gotta feed them flowering nutrients.

      @allatup

I have nutes but i was going to wait till the next grow because its recommend you dont use nutes with kind soil. But if i have to add some how much should i add? I have gh trio series

    #54
It says that kind soil should be good for the entire grow. They are autos btw of anyone was wondering. And they are about a month old maybe a little long i honestly lost count

Ok, I grow hydro and I've never grown autos, so I don't know shit, BUT your babies are small. Drunkin, write down your dates. You have to keep track of that kind of stuff. And maybe post a new thread: How can I get my autos bigger? or something like that. You will get the experts to answer you that way...

    #55
DrunkInHatchy Nebula just posted this for someone else: "I'm sorry I didn't see this until now! If you're not adding extra nutrients during the grow, with Organic Super Soil you want to water just enough that you barely get any runoff at all. That helps prevent all the nutrients being flushed out during the grow, since the nutrients in the soil need to last your plant for longer."

So heres another update. Not much different from before but i did increase water intake today so we will see how the handle it. Baby A had another haor cut. I wanted to get as much light on her as i could so hopefully she doesn't get too stress. And baby B is still the same not much different going on with her. I increased her water intake today too. And of course i have pics.

Yea shes surprising me. She has a little over a month left i think. I have to check my book with the dates to be exact. Baby B is also starting to get little hairs growing. Shes a little behind so im assuming there will be different harvest dates by at least 2 weeks or so. Also i added a little sister for them. But its still too early to tell if she will make it or not so ill wait before i post pics of her.

Minor update. Baby B is still continuing to be Stubborn but shes getting there. Unfortunately no pics of her this time around. Baby A is doing great. Buds are getting bigger by the day. Not super big but noticeable. They both have increased on water intake and everything else is pretty much the same.

According to the breeders info she should be done soon. It says 55 to 60 days from seed and on the 14th itll be 60 days. Ill let her sit an extra week to see what happens. On the gwe site it said thats when you should get the best results for autos so we will see. Although they stayed super small and didnt get much yeild im excited. I already have a new one started and will be germinating 2 more seeds in the next few days.

So we had a loss recently. Baby A was doing great but unfortunately she had to be cut down and removed. I noticed fungus growing on her buds so i got rid of her. Her buds where getting big. The breeders guide was wrong with the time frame because she kept growing. It was a sad day cause i had such high hopes and ive put a few months of love into her.

on a better note baby B is doing better then ever. I increased her water intake to half a gallon and she loves it. Ive added more fresh air and another fan. Shes standing more uprite and her leaves are alot better. Shes started to bud a little so hopefully i can keep up the good work.

And since i teased with the new baby girl in an earlier post (lemon candy) she will be included in the new pic. In just a short time she has out grown baby A and baby B.

Thanks. I hope all goes well from here on out. The way i had the tent set up before was just circulating the same air in the entire room. The intake and exhaust where in the same area. What i did now was ran the intake from a separate room into the tent and the exhaust going to the attic. So this way its fresh air only coming in. With the new fan i have that pushing the air around while the other fan is on the plants. Humidity has been great and temps have been perfect. Now i know how to water better and properly so i dont expect to over water or under water the plants. Like you suggested before i was under watering causing them to stay small. Now with the increased water i can tell a huge difference.
