    Hidden grow buddy

I don't ever see this guy except in photos. He sure helps keep the varmints in check. If you have a grow in a remote location it is a good idea to have a trail camera set up. I put out the water to see what might come and if any people see it they would check it out. This has never happened in ten years. I mean people. I get lots of animal photos. Makes it interesting when I check the camera. Once I got a picture of a U.F.O. I tried to put it on the internet but it came out blank.

First of all, are you being serious, because I am a very gullible person? Is that a mountain lion?

So this is your property? Really awesome, but I'd be afraid to walk out on 'the trail' to check on my grow.

Yeah, OzBud, but you have Tasmanian Devils. I had some friends that lived in Launceston (sp?) years ago. They used to send me pictures of different places in Tasmania.. You live in a beautiful country. Always wanted to visit. We have a friend that moved to New Zealand from England. He raises sheep out in the middle of nowhere. He's invited us to visit numerous times but we'll never get there.

Yeah, but aren't there a lot of big trout there? I love to fish for trout but I live in a desert.

It's a small world, I'm pretty close to Launceston. Tasmanian Tigers are pretty cool.

Yeah Dan, Tasmania is a well known Trout Fishing destination. Haven't landed any monsters myself yet but it's only a matter of time & patience

haha yeah they're pretty awesome. Amazing how fast a small group of them can demolish a dead Wallaby. It's a shame they've got some sort of contagious facial cancer threatening their existence. There's pretty good research and protection initiatives though so fingers crossed Tasmania doesn't lose another species found nowhere else in Australia. like the Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger)

I bought part of a ranch out in east AZ about 25 years ago just in case weed got poor quality and expensive. The mammals run away when people come but these don"t.This one almost got my wife. That is why it ended up on the wall. It was tasty too. Diamondback rattle snake almost 2 meters.

These guys come to the ranch during hunting season because there is no hunting within 5 miles, private ranches and locked gates, Perfect.

Beautiful deer, what a great rack. Is it a whitetail? That's we have in Penna.

Whitetail deer. They drove out the mule deer about 15 years ago. Shotgun not necessary. pellet gun for snakes. Camera is bushnell trail cam from Bass Pro ten years old.

Also to keep animals away from plants use moth balls (place around plant) many falconer's use these !!! To keep preditor's away from tree nesting birds

Don't think I'd want to water moth balls into my plant roots, but if they were outside the drip line I'd consider it. I'm legal nowdays and have a nice fenced garden but back in the guerilla grow days I would have figured out a way to use moth balls. Everyone says deer won't eat weed after it's started to bud...trust me...they'll eat it anytime.
