I'll make some assumptions but here goes:

If you assume the dog was called in, because the driver- did not consent to a search.

Ohio has decriminalized 100g of marijuana and dogs can only determine IF the drug was present, but not QUANTITY.
Then they have no basis for "probable cause" of a crime being committed, to search the truck over the driver's lack of consent-

The search would be determined illegal and what they found would be inadmissible...

That said, the quantity does not fall under the realm of personal use which is what most states marijuana laws cover.

I consider my self fairly intelligent... BUT, I need a dictionary to get thru the second page... not an easy casual read and I’m assuming he put an enormous amount to effort into it. Since I can still watch Gilligans Island with 1 eye open, I’ll opt for that. 😉

Not an easy read for me either, but very interesting. Made it through the very begaining, and definitely some similarities to what I see happening the last few years, in particular. Perhaps people really do come in layers, like onions, and trial and adversity brings out what really is inside of them.
