Thrips, I've been battling them the last 3 weeks. First with insecticidal soap. That didn't work, so this morning I bombed them with Doctor Doom. I will check them tomorrow and see. I'm 2 weeks into flowering and want to nip them in the butt ASAP.

Do you know how you're getting thrips? From clones? Once they're on your plants, thrips are kind of tricky
Insecticidal soaps do work somewhat on thrips but you need to apply it daily, and it should be combined with something else for the best results. Spinosad products are kind of the same way, they're only good for a about a day on the plant, and are best used daily or combined with something else if you already have an infestation. Pyrethrin products work too (which is also what's in Doktor Doom) but just like Insecticidal Soaps and Spinosad, Pyrethrins don't last on the plant for more than a day. Even if the thrips seem gone after the Doktor Doom, I would make sure to treat your plants at least 1-2 more times with one or more of the other options just to make sure the thrips are actually gone, instead of just in hiding. Otherwise you may accidentally breed super thripsNeem oil also can kill thrips and lasts on the plant longer than the other options, but I know some growers avoid it for various reasons, especially later in the flowering stage because the smell can stick on buds.
No matter what you're using, you'll usually get the best results if you apply your treatment with a mister (also called a "One-Hand Pressure Sprayer") to spray all the leaves evenly. Make sure to get every part of the plant including underneath the leaves! Also make sure to spray before they go to sleep so they don't get burned by the lights. Whenever using anything new, it's a good idea to test it on a small part of the plant first and wait a day to see how the plant reacts, just in case you try to give it something too strong. I hope that helps! Since you're catching it early they shouldn't affect your harvest!

I use Neem oil however I'm 5 weeks into flowering and I don't want to use it. Because it leaves a crappy taste this late in flower.

Thanks Brother, I appreciate you and your thanks. Yeah, it still haunts me, what we did and the hollow lonely return afterwards. Cannabis really helps my PTSD. Well I hope I don't have any nasty tasting smoke. But since I've never had this strain I might not know the difference, lol. Take care Bro, glad to know you!!
