with those packs do you still open the mason jars for a few minutes a day or longer. or do the packs serve the purpose of not having to open lids every day for the first few weeks of curing? Just curious.

My suggestion-cure your flower before you use your Boveda's. I do the normal drying process and then jar/burp for a week and THEN add the Boveda pack. Seems to work better for me.WHAT???

Yes you need to open the jars. I open the jar, fan with the lid for a air exchange within the 1/2 - 2/3 full jar, and reseal. I do this morning and evening for first 2-3 weeks. The 62% pack remains in the jar until I am ready to use the contents.
Regardless of how you do it, venting the jars is a must.
