Found this after storm last night. Cut the branch off and will clone top 24 inches. I sprayed Serenade on the wound to try and keep mold out. Should I use tree wound sealer after it dries out or just keep up with Serenade? Would love some opinions or suggestions.

This is my first time to use Serenade. It is supposed to eat gray mold. A wound like this is can be almost fatal this time of year. 78 degrees 50% humidity this morning and sprinkles on and off today high 90. If the gray mold gets started and gets into the stalk it will cause a canker and strangle the whole plant. May not kill the plant but will destroy quality and yield. I have posted photos of stalk canker in the past and only this year learned exactly what causes it.1 Photo
