Shame about the Bubba. Definitely not flourishing like the others. Do you have more Bubba seeds, that you can try it again next grow?

Thank you Nebula for answering this for me. I will have to consider this when I start to use FF trio. I used very little additives last grow, and never watered till full run off, just enough to see a bit of water come out of drainage holes.

I'm trying to get my wife to give up on the bubba but I can tell she really wants me to keep her.

I've also heard that BD eats a lot. Not sure about the other. Conflict of interest for sure. I guess if that's the case, you could make full strength nutes for the ones that need it and thin out the solution for the others.

Sounds like a pain but I know you'll deal with it, in stride.

Maybe just a funky Bubba seed? I'd punt OR switch her out into Dixie space and give GT the pot space.
i was just informed that my future Blue Dream wants full feed but my future GSCxWhite widow wants less feed ? Not sure I want to cater to that..
your opinion on more or less nutrients per strains????

    Day 22

Getting worried about the Bubba. I think she really hated the topping. She's slowed down quite a bit. She's pretty wrinkled too. Like there's a root issue. Idunno what to do yet but I will either just stick with her or put the ghost train in her place. I'll decide this weekend. Normally I already would have but my wife really wants the bubba.

The ghost train in the solo cup is getting rootbound so that's why I made the ultimatum with the bubba. She better get to growing by Saturday or she's gone.

Also got some spots. New growth looks good though. I recalibrated my ph pen. It was off by .2. Trimmed a couple fans off the big girls in the back.

I've learned that different growing mediums react differently to watering. When using liquid nutrients in the water, you want runoff every time so you don't get nutrient buildup in the growing medium, but when your plants are getting all the nutrients they need in the soil like with Royal Nug's setup, then you don't necessarily want runoff because it will carry away your nutrients with it!

We're going to make a detailed KIND soil tutorial one of these days, and the watering page is getting an overhaul soon, too

I want to encourage the roots to grow laterally, especially in this wider pot. This is to try to fill the media with roots as fast as possible. That's my theory at least.

Weed plants are like trees....roots are as big around as tree canopy is...just water around the seedling or small plant...bigger they get more you give them

Yep. I did a light watering, 2 cups each, circling the plants. I will water the outside right next to the container soon for the duration of the grow. Once the roots grow deeper and wider of course.

They have all been topped and had their first true leaves removed.

Got a few wrinkles on the bubba, a few spots on the tangie, a little tip discoloration on the blue dream. Am I concerned? Nah...

My last grow did this too. They all straightened out...
I am curious about the dark circle around each plant. Is this where you are watering? If so, at what point do you just start to water the entire top of pot?
