I had about 6 ounces of trim and popcorn buds from a recent harvest which dried to about 3 ounces after decarbing in the oven. When people say an ounce to a pound if butter, do they mean the weight before or after baking?
I planned on weighing out the butter into 4oz blocks to be equal to one stick of regular butter for use in a recipe. Is that the easiest/best way to measure?
Also, if you don't use your butter right away, how do you store it and how long is it good for?
