Haha Canuck147 those speakers are from the 80s and still sound great. I'm not sure what brand they are atm but I've had them for 25 years 😆. That's one of the problems in my shop I keep stuff forever. But I'll never get rid of them speakers 😉. Gotta have my tunes. Fun times indeed ✌.

Thank you Californiakid. Was a great experience even though I ran into deficiecy and didn't heed the info Weed Pharma provided in the journal with this soil recipe. My mistake and I take full responsibility for the lack of bloom nutrition p and k. And the deterioration of the leaves at the very end of flower time. That's why I decided to put my own recipe together for DHGC with the help of Pharma providing the base of it all 😉. Hence the tag thank you Pharma.

Skywalkers hanging and they were a pita to trim. Lots of leafy matter. Going to invest in a trimmer 😆. Will be using trim for compost. Heavy buds felt like a club in my hand...and the wife thought it might make a wonderful bouquet for a wedding lmao. Crazy double bud here in pics somewhere looks like something started chewing the tip of the bud. Smells like a fresh cut noble Christmas tree, I smell a hint of lemon in there as well 😉.

Used some endo/ecto in the gg#4s just put some holes in the soil and dropped it in. Looks like we got some major pistil action happening after the first night of 12/12 and will get some pics up later of the monsters... enjoy the frosty pics 😊.

Staggered harvests is what I've done. Two plants curing in different stages - one ripening will be done in 2 weeks and 4 more growing underneath at about 20 days.

Gg#4s have begun to show many more pistils. 3rd day of 12/12 and they'll be getting a liquid bone meal solution today. Going to top dress fish bone meal, kelp meal, langbeinite, and de when top soil dries a bit. Switching out the mh in 11 days with hps and yellow pics 😆. Jk I have some fluorescents in the shop I can use for pic lighting and they seem to like the added lights 😉. Let's see if I can do better then the Skywalkers did as far as keeping nutrition available. Now that I know what mistake I made I'm going to try and avoid deficiency and hope that my soil mix has what it takes to get these girls to harvest. Click image for larger version

Hotter dark time temps can help control a bit of "the stretch" as well. Which I actually learned by experience before I read that indeed it does. 😉 🍻

What's with the turquoise light on the right? Even if it's mH it still looks dim bro, just saying. Both of those plants could be under that one hood on the left 👌 Just my thoughts my growmie!
      Otherwise, looking great!

Did a heavy pruning/ lollipopping to most growth tips that would never make it to the canopy but left fan leaves on. Considering this day to start the beginning of flowering which puts me at 8 weeks from now roughly. So they'll be finishing up at the end of October beginning of November.

Going to have to get some 6ft bamboo stakes the 4 footers I have aren't going to cut it. And I know they're going to need some support. So far with the mh in the stretch has been minimal. And night temps are getting in the 50s in my shop but they seem to be hardened enough to take it. If it starts getting any colder I'm going to run into problems with keeping them warm. Guess I'll get some straw and see about some form of heating though it will be hard since I really wasn't prepared for a photo grow in my shop this late in the year.

My patience is wearing thin with autos in a photo room and photos in an auto room. All because seeds were mixed up and that's my freaking luck. I wish I could run 2 lights in my room just to finish without worrying about environment. Or seperate the seemingly autos that are growing in the dark harvest grow challenge. Fml I've got my work cut out for me 😆. Here's some pistil pics 😉.

Curing still and waiting another week to weigh out. But from jars looks to be a good 6oz. Maybe 5 and 1/2 but not bad for my first auto run. I know you can't see in the amber jars but they are the fullest ones. Will take pics in the bud bowl when I weigh out. Here's some of a bottom branch. I usually clip big buds down to smaller buds so it dries evenly and faster. The big buds will keep the rh up in the jar I've noticed and I have to take them out too often.

Things I'd do differently with auto flowers would be to run them in a sog style grow, making sure they were all autos. Start in final pots no transplanting, probably 5s or 7s fabric pots. Top and train earlier depending on growth, avoid supercropping till later in flower. Lst more delicately and prune fans covering growth tips or tie them down. Run hps or dual mh/hps spectrum lights before 3rd node maybe 10 days from seed. More mycorrhizae, root enhancer, and inoculate earlier Daily foliar feedings and water with more teas. Write down time lines for when to top dress or provide bloom boosters. And I'm sure there will be other areas not covered here.

Will have better bud pics at weigh in 😉 ✌ 💘.

We have budlets 😉. Worm casting tea with mycorrhizae today. This mistake has turned out to be my favorite grow by far and hope the mj gods Wii be on my side. So far they've been torturing me with seed mistakes, I hope they've had their fun. Going to top dress with some p and k and they had a fresh soil mix topped off about 2 weeks ago so I think I'm going to finish strong with this grow. Only thing I'm dreading is weather. Dipping down in the 40s low 50s and they seem to be doing okay. Wouldn't mind another 2 months of fair weather to finish out these bushy beasts. 3' tall from soil and around 3' wide with budlets forming halfway up the stalk to the very top. 😋

Thank you atu 😃. Redwasp if I hag only one it would be under the 1000 by itself but if I only ran one 1000 the other plant would suffer with minimal lighting. Unless I had a light rail but that's a work in progress 😆.

Weigh in for Skywalkers 2 autos kiss method with lightly amended roots organics original. Lighting was started under cfls moved to 1000watt mh but mostly got 6-8 hours of good sunshine. Finished up under 1000watt hps and 5-6hours of sunshine. Got my training done late and too much hst probably hurt me a little as far as yield and max potential.

I had a good guess at 6oz. 193g was weigh in and I would have had more of not for failed germination and photoperiods mixed in my 6 autos turned into 2 autos. But not bad for my first run with any auto flower. Buds are pretty dense even some of the larf is dense. Smells of pine and lemon. Pics of part of a top I didn't cut down into smaller buds 😉 🚬 😃 ✌ 😊

I couldn't resist and had to try some 13 days in jars and all I have to say is amazing. I had to go back to seedsman to look at breeder info and seems I was spot on with all specs.https://www.seedsman.com/en/auto-sky...eminised-seeds

Tastes amazing earthy and piney with a hint of fruit and can only imagine it being better in a few more weeks 😉. I did let it go a few extra days then stated above. Immediate head high with a bit of couch lock not really a day time strain unless you're just relaxing.

Went back to order more and the price was 20$ more then what I had originally paid 😢. I knew I should have stocked up. Perfect plants for a sog style grow I'll have this one on my radar and wait to see if the price changes. Would be perfect to grow 10 plants @ almost 100g per plant 👍. Which will be my next auto grow if and when I decide to penny up for the seeds.

Coming to the end of week 1. Gnats have been a nuisance but seem to be under control. Think the neem meal and the rest of my IPM are doing the job 😉. But we're laden with budlets here and going to have to pick up some 6foot stakes today. I can already see branches leaning and maybe I can train some of the middle of the cart stuff to suck up more light. They are kind of shaded out in the middle of the cart. I guess I could cut it out but when I see all the potential budlets that aren't suckers I just walk away. Click image for larger version

They're putting on some stretch, at 4foot high and atleast 3 feet around but the pots (15 gallon) are pretty tall. I want to say around 18inches. So with a 7foot tent it would need some supercropping with hid lighting, it would get dicey heightwise. I could have kept them a little shorter I suppose 😉.

          #89
I cant wait to see the dry yield to see if it's worth letting them get that big. Just watch them close if you have even mildly high humidity.

I will have to watch humidity running 64% atm but it's got good airflow lots of open space and sheltered from moisture. I went poking around leaves and what not (daily pest and leaf inspection) no moisture on leaves that are touching so that's a good sign. I may decide to take a few off soon to avoid it.

Good idea, If you defoliate a little, that will help with the humidity.

Start of week 2. Defoliated some to ensure air flow and expose a few bud sites. Added 5 foot stakes around the pot so I can tie up what will need it. Going strong, no discolored leaves or burnt tips. Gnats are under control and damaged leaves have been removed. 🍻 Click image for larger version
