The strongest sleeping indica strain you've ever grown?

Hi all, the title says it all.

I'm looking for the STRONGEST Indica strain you've ever grown/tasted, mainly looking to put me to sleep, it can't be "too much".

Please chime in even if you've only grown a few strains... I plan on taking everyone's opinion and if one strain in particular keep coming back, then I'll surely give it a try.

Perhaps this post has already been done, but as time goes on we discover new strains.

So far I've noted down the Skywalker OG (thanks Campesino ). Black Domina also (can't remember who told me about it, probably oldjarhead100 ).

I've looked at the Seedmans advanced research tool (Thanks alltatup) , and... It didn't help me much. To be honest I don't trust websites that much, I'd rather go with personal opinion. If you could give some details as to why you think this strain was the strongest against insomnia, it would help considerably making my choice.

Have grown 'Revolver' and plan to again this year. Works good to help my wife sleep, me too. 4 % in the CBN side .5 CBD , about 14 % THC. What's helping us sleep right now is 'Bubba Kush'. I personally like any Kush for relaxation. Have 2 OG Kush happening right now.

14% THC seems low, isn't it? Or is it in relation to the CBD/CBN that it makes it actually efficient for a sleeping aid?

Damn after reading some things about those it seems to be very efficient indeed. Something about an exact dose, it's easy to get the right amount you need with those. And it's strong indeed.

I like the gg#4 myself. Great for pain too. There's a strain I get here think it's kind of exclusive or its the name I can't find couch glue. Supposed to be a cross with gg and strawberry cough. But anything in the gg family is potent really.

I also thought GG would be my go to strain this year, try it out. I've come to learn the most potent strain were made using GG (33% & 29% THC, although because labs use different technique of analyse, there's no "standard").

BUT! After talking with more than THREE people here who grew GG... They all agreed (I think you are there in the thread too! ) that it was a very big calmer, yet it's not the perfect strain for insomnia... GG would probably be used during the day for me! To that level...
I should look up that mix, even if I don't find the exact same name, if i could find parents GG & strawbery cough, it could be the same than "couch glue."

Between couch glue and GG, for insomnia, which one would you say is the best?

The couch glue definitely lived up to the name. And I smoke tough. Usually end up buying pre rolls that are rolled in keif and buuble hash or shatter infused doobies.

Maybe a Hash Plant strain ? I'm curing some right now and my wife just love it, it really help her for sleeping. Maybe the THC is not enough for you but it's a good strain for my wife who prefer to be "stoned" than "high" and beside it is a good plant for making hash if you like hash. Mine is about 15% THC with a 3.5% CBD.

What kind of Hash strain would you recommend? The one you noticed was the strongest? I'm also much into the stoned than the high... Couch lock, something that stuns you. I'm not looking to be that high to be honest, it's nice and all but... it's a medicine first and foremost

Afghan is something I've also heard from friends, but I'm guessing i need to order from a particular seed bank (world of seeds in this context). Isn't it?

Also I can't let it grow til amber because it becomes WAY too humid around here, and bud rot declare itself... I'll probably try the auto though, that'll let me harvest it mid summer, where it's nicely dry!! I could let it go on at that time!

Thanks OzBud Seedsman must be getting theirs from World of Seed only I guess. I'm also buying from some other website, but they get their from World of Seeds (afghan kush ryder) and Sensi seeds (black domina) etc. Sadly they are out of stocks for the reserva privada's Skywalker. Bah, i'll buy it from another website.

Hey Minnoo96 mines were feminized seeds but like I was saying the THC is not as high as the other strains, This one is between 13 to 15 % THC but not higher, so it may not be suitable for you. I let it go until my trichomes were at least 70% amber. The lineage is between an Afghani and Northern Light.

So you advise me to look up some Hash strain, with the highest THC available for me, parents afghani in particular. Did I get everything correctly?

Yes, many strains (afghan) are close to 20% of THC. My next crop is by the way a 100% indica up to 20% THC Afghan feminized from amsterdam marijuana seeds.

I've had great success getting my zzzzzzs with Aurora Indica and Bubblelious from Nirvana and, like Farmbuck, I let the trichomes go heavily on amber.

Bubblelicious sounds great because I've tasted bubble kush and liked it already. The aurora indica though, i've never heard before.
Also I can't let it go til amber if it's "normal" feminised seeds... Only auto can be left til amber because they will be harvested mid summer.

purple urkle and afghan. a 14% thc with 2% cbd would put me down so i think it's combination or entourage effect.

That's what I'm slowly coming to realize, the combination seems to help sleep. I could also smoke a very strong THC and take some CBD oil on the side I guess. Alltatup was telling me how saturating the body with CBD is helping tremendously with all these issues of anxiety... perhaps sleep too.

Oz, thanks for confirming the strain genetics, although it's for recreational use, not for sleeping isn't it? I have some space queen with me I think... I didn't want to grow it thinking it'd be like another one of mine that was disappointing... But hey i'll have to use the seed eventually. Thanks again

What does it mean when a seed is out of stock almost everywhere and is very costly, compared to others? Does it mean it's a sought after strain, or more likely people don't buy much of those and it'll be discontinued soon?

Hmm everything I’ve tried so far keeps me awake and puts my wife to sleep right away. I never use after 7pm unless I don’t mind burnin the midnight oil.

I've heard of one person like this, where everything was upside down for him. Alcohol would calm him down the way marijuana calms me down, and marijuana would excite him the way alcohol excites me. You shouldn't make him smoke otherwise he may become violent, such things... Haha. I know some people who cannot sleep if they smoke MJ. I know some who don't feel hungry also! (I blame the smoke itself, rather than the Marijuana, it kills taste buds in the tongue.)

Take what ever Indica strain you have and don't harvest until most or all of the Trichomes are amber and you will most assuredly fall asleep. Or at least have a chunk of Lead in your ass you won't want to get up.

The thing is I cannot let it go til amber, it's much too damp/wet here and I grow outdoor. It'll rot -it did, last year-.
I will try autos though, Afghan Kush Ryder, and make it coincide with harvest mid summer! That'll let me let it go til amber.

I also plan on taking CBD oil with my "normal" strains that are harvested in autumn. So i'll get my share of CBD that way. (I know, amber is CBN... which in my book is not as good as CBD haha)

You ever try doing edibles about an hour before bedtime Minoo96? Everyone is different , but a brownie before bed knocks me the hell out.

No I haven't tried yet, I know its much stronger than smoking it. I planned on making things LIKE edible but not edible per say... I'll try those, in case my other solutions doesn't work. (Planning on adding some CBD oil into my treatment, saturate my body with it and THC, I got a feeling this might really help)
