    pH??

I have a question in regards to pH levels when growing in soil using super soil(foxfarm). This is my first grow,I will normally be doing hydro but I got clones from my buddy and they already in soil.I am currently in the flowering stage,I am using 600 watt HPS(not sure if thats needed to know).I am trying to figure out what the pH of the water to feed should be.Ive read so much different stuff on the internet that I'm not sure, one says don't even bother checking it,another says 5.5-6.0,then my buddy told me not to worry about adding bites to water just use cal-mag and molasses. The strain is purple kush.....help

I'm not familiar with foxfarm super soil but as far as I'm aware you don't need to adjust water pH when using super soil, all the good stuff in it works magic for you. Try to water with as little runoff as possible as that washes away nutrients. Super soil should have all or most of what you need for a grow depending on how hungry a plant is. Some people supplement the super soil with compost teas or teas made from more super soil or other concoctions.

hey oldjarhead100 I was able to get them up to 80% strength of the full GH line of nutes before they showed the slightest sign of nute burn on the tips, backed off to 75% for the rest of the grow and they loved it.
There's a few different phenos and as you know they can pump out a fair bit of yield so they might need staking or a silica supplement to give the branches some extra support. Apart from that it's just keeping the environment dialled in as well as possible and reading the plant. Oh and being indica they can be a bit temperature sensitive but with all the cold weather you yanks are having that shouldn't be much of an issue.

Never heard of FoxFarms supersoil, if your using FoxFarms soil, I would try to keep your ph between 6.0-7.0 like Nebula says, growing coco your ph needs to be between 5.5-6.5.
I grow in KindSoil often, its considered supersoil ,and Mr Kind says to stay between 6.2-6.8 ph and I've found around 6.1-6.3 to be just right ph for water- feed going in. Good Luck bc420

If you grow in soil, your PH should be between 6-7.

In soil-I pH up water @6.0 - and let the plant do the rest, as the roots will secrete acid/base depending upon the plant's determined needs.

The times I didn't, I ran into potassium deficiencies. The plants do well with extra potassium from pHup.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!
