    Lsting during flowering?

What's up everyone. Im almost at the three week mark in flowering, and just finished defoling my three plants. I notice some of the branches are taller than others so i was wondering if i should tie the larger branches down or if that's too much stress for them.

    #2
As long as they havent gotten to hard to bend you should be fine. lst never stresses but breaking branches does. just be careful.

H4, if branches get to unruly in flowering don't be afraid to look into supercropping. A quick little Bend and they'll continue on your way.

Believe I read on GWE/Nebula that feeding/watering FIRST and then LST makes the branches less brittle. Plus you can start the wire with some bend and next feed tighten it up/ more bend.
It's what I do anyway. I'm always twerking my wires😊

It's not uncommon for me to have to reign in some unruly girls during my indoor grow when they get leggy. The first time I tried super cropping I was certain I was going to wreck all of my hard work. What I discovered is that the only way to screw this up is to actually tear the limb in two-just fold the branch over and she'll bounce back in no time.

H4 remember that if you do nothing you will still grow cannabis it is just a technique used by Growers. It can't be scary the first time but like gbauto said you almost can't mess it up as long as you don't tear It Off. With that in mind I'd also like to bring up the fact that plants can be grafted together so even if it was torn completely off no doubt in my mind it could be put together, HummnmmmI might have found a new cannabis challenge for my grow room.
Just be gentle it is actually quite easy to super crop.

Mr.furley, thats what i love about this plant. Not only does it look beautiful, and is one of the most unique plants ever, but its resilience to damage and its surroundings is pretty amazing. So many ways to grow and train it, and i want to master all the techniques. Next grow im going to try super cropping. And mabey some other tricks. You guys here on GWE are truley the best.

H4john yes it seems very daunting being a first time grower and all these new things get thrown at you. Just yesterday I did my first Supercrop just as you are preparing to do. I was nervous as well. It actually isnt too hard. Unfortunately I broke one of my main stems. Just remember to keep duct tape or electrical tape around when you train. Just in case you need to make a bandaid.

Here are a couple pictures to show you how resilient these plants are. I was doing some LST training yesterday and literally split the main stem of my plant in two vertically. Split right down the middle at my top. A little tape and I put it back together. Couple days Ill know how it responded.

don't overly fear about hurting your plants. Just be as cautious as possible and if you have to make a repair make a repair and go along.

you can see in the pictures that the spots i damage i covered in electrical tape

Im going to try super cropping and hopefully a couple other techniques. Thank you for your help and advice i really do appreciate it! The picture on the left yes, with the supercropping. That plant is about 17 days into flower.

The Picture on the right Is from my next round. It is about 50 days old still on veg. The plant on the right is one of the plants from my current journal.

Learning all the tricks are exciting. There a million things you can do to create a completely different final product than the guy growing the same seeds with differing methods.

This is one of my favorite pictures of a super crop example during flowering of one of my plants. This Cola wanted to grow taller so I cropped her once and 7 days later she continue to force her way to the top so I cropped her a second time exposing the middle two bud sites to become Tops and the original top to grow from below them since it's was so vigorous. Easy peasy Click image for larger version

You are going to want to apply some weight or tie it if possible. They will tend to stand straight back up if not. fishing lures with hooks are a great thing to keep around for this. They are heavy enough to keep the branch down. If not you can always add two. But they are also light enough they dont pull your branch straight down. The hooks are easy on easy off too when you need to adjust.

Take the branch inbetween your thumb and and index finger start pinching and applying a little pressure until you crush it just enough to bend her over entire down you're basically breaking the cell walls down inside the plant. you may need to pinch for a minute depending on how thick the branches

here is a perfect example the first time supercropping. basically in real time. Last night I attempted my first supercrop. I ended up breaking one branch but barely. My first Branch went without problem the one I broke was my second one.

This is the one I broke. You can see in just about 18 hours the grow tip is completely pointing back North
