    JcBrit lights.

I thought I would post this for all led users. I ordered 2 of their 100 watt models. 30 watts from the wall. They are rated at nearly 7000 lux at just over 12 inches from the plant. Come with bloom and veg mod. There are no fans in these units either drawing power from the lights and they still stay cool to the touch. My temp has only risen 2°f in my tent since adding both of them. Right now on amazon you can get them for 30$ on sale from like 120$.

I highly recommend their products. As they actually give lux readings and not just watts it is a huge bonus for cheaper models. They also have a couple larger sized lights in their inventory.

The picture below is just with the 2 lights hooked up. That is 60 watts from the wall and as you can see they have great coverage as well.

Is that picture with both switches on? Can you post pictures of each separate switch? How long have you had them?

This is with just bloom switch on both. I've had them for 24 hrs now. Lights quickly and are pretty bright. No heat at all. Pics too follow.

Here you can see how close lights are set. Ive decided to use them as side lighting.

Each day right before lights out I plan to spin the plant a qtr turn so each end and side get the bonus light.

Hmmmm. Their gimmick is good.....all makes sense. Not sold on it being a primary source of light. Right there with you if supplemental! UrbZ you've been a very contributing guy. Actually one of the first I bounced ideas back n forth with, joining this beautiful forum! I'm new and started with LEDs. Still have em! Was lucky on my first buy, not knowing a god damn thing, with a Vipraspectra 600. Maybe I'm not lucky as I thought. Don't know. I question the 2 harvests I've had. They weren't bad! Don't get me wrong! But it always lingers in my mind, what results would have been with different lights. Why "old school" growers still steer clear of LEDs. Don't know til I try! I'd love more than anything to see an end result from these! Please keep me updated. I'm a big fan of using less electricity...its why I haven't changed anything yet! Maybe I need to. Or companies. Run the 600 for veg and 3 CFLs on clones. 2x300 and a 450 in flower tent. All LEDs Vipraspectra. Appreciate any input and knowledge you attain!

Thank you man. I'm doing what I can to help share the love. Anything that attempts to promote better/more product I'm glad to share. Everyone can pick or choose what they find to be helpful. I'm a new grower myself learning everything right along side everyone else here.

And yes picking lights seems daunting at first.
Hps/Mh, led, cree led, cob led, ceramic, ect.
Then not to mention every variation on each type.

Thanks for the pictures. They look sweet and for that price you can't go wrong.

I thought LED was to be measured in PAR, not lux? If the PAR isn't there, it doesn't matter how bright it is, no?

These models actually have balanced par/lumen output.

I have become skeptical whenever a light is described in the amount of PAR or Lumens it puts out, without any comparison of results to MH HPS. I am yet to find a light where "less watts equals more weight" than with MH/HPS. I am sure it is coming, and I am looking for it, but results are all that matter to me (at a comparable price of course).

what I have learned so far:
              environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

Yeah they say these are equivalent to 100 watts a piece hid.

I have a PAR700 that is 'equivalent' to 600w hps while drawing about 325 watts. I am here to tell you it is a 325 watt light and you can expect a 325 harvest.. Same as all the rest.

These led companies need to start using YPF weighting to describe their lights output. It's the newest way of actually measuring light used by plants and is way more accurate.

SO curious! I wish there were some clone, side by side by side studies done (obviously every control damn near exact) comparing the actual power draw from the wall with LEDs HPS MH and LEC. To put it all to rest! I know a couple of growers that would have gave up their thumb rather than changing from their HPS/MH to LEDs. Now they all throw LEDs in tandom with their lights, they always said they wouldn't switch or change from! Maybe that's REALLY the way to go? Run a little wattage of each!
