    White spots/no growth

So ive had some issues with white spots on my plants. I've been updating my journal with the issues bit now it seems to be progressing.

3 days ago gave them a full lineup of nutes did not help.
7 days ago they were given a heavy 16 nitrogen foliar boost, did not help.
2 days ago they were giving seaweed extract foliar boost no help.
Today they were ready to feed again. I just fed with 1/8 teaspoon of raw nitrogen and 3 ml of cal/mag per gallon.

    Feeding today.
All 3 plants 6.2 pH in
All 3 plants 6.8 pH out

At first I thought bleaching so now my lights are 36 inches above canopy. Exactly manufacturers recommendation. 8 inches higher than where they started.

And now since last feeding there has been no new growth like none what so ever.

    Lights on temp 77.5°F
    Lights off temp 72.5°F
    Oscillating fan wiggling them 24/7
RH at a steady 56-61% all times

No growth to me may just be the plants rooting into the larger pot.

Starting to wonder if coloring is genetics.

Other than that I am lost.

It looks like thrip damage but then doesnt.....not silvery like snail trails, but kinda same patterns they create.

I have a mature plant right next to these 3. It is showing no symptoms what so ever. I know its not mold for the same reason.

Would I be right in thinking that if all 3 seedlings have it but not the adult plant that I can rule out mildew/pests.

If they can jump from one seedling to another why wouldnt they be on the mature plant is my thought process. Same with mildew the adult is bushier and has leaves rubbing and touching but no signs. That would get mildew before the seedlings I would think.

I'm no one, to absolutely diagnose, a health problem or genetic trait! But if this helps out in any way, I think if there is plenty of good air circulation, like you said, mold chances would drop. I got hit by thrips 1 or 2 wks before witch to 12/12. Treated with insecticide soaps. They never went away completely. New growth halted at one point until it produced resin. Thrips couldn't get past it lol. They would damage what they could, really no harm. The other clones i had in veg w the this plant before flower, got decimated. Anyway, they leave markings on the leaves that look your pics, but yours aren't a silver color like mine were. Try an insecticide and see if it works. Then you could rule that one out if it doesn't. Feeding a hurt plant can make a sick plant sicker. Stick w just water til you get it figured out. Good luck bud

Thanks for the assistance. Last night hit them with a foliar stop spray for mold/mites. I also put a layer of diatomaceous earth down. Next watering I am going to do a spinosad root feeding. I checked everywhere with a scope and saw no bugs anywhere. So all this is hopefully just preventative measures. But as for the issue its still persisting even after the huge dose of Nit.

TBH I am lost. I dont know what else to do. Im about to just throw these in the corner and germ. some new seeds. I cannot get it under control, nor find any real help on whats happening....

Could this damage have been done from a little over watering at a young age? had a friend say that he had a plant show symptoms like this before. It was one that he over watered. Also the two that are growing a little bit better have almost rid themselves of all the whiteness but the runt is still showing it pretty heavy.

Hmmm....I honestly don't know. Overwatering can show as a bunch of different deficiencies. If the runt isn't improving under all the same treatments as the others and getting worse.....is there ANYTHING its getting more of or not enough than the other 2 that bounced back?

Everything is the same except I used more perlite in the soil mix the runt is in. Other than that nothing. Its pretty messed up shes the happiest of the 3 too but the sickest looking. I have a grow journal going too I updated everything there yesterday she was so happy her leaves were almost praying. As of now im not going to consider her sick any more. Just special....

Yeah, that should be fine ,it's still gone take a while to get your soil ph a little lower, but that's one of the good things about soil, lots of buffering going on to keep it where it needs to be, it ain't gone stay the same no how.

Daas69 is right, this is not a dire Last Chance emergency. Just lower it and adjust as needed, I think you are going to find 6.3 your run off number ( good spot for coco/ soilless medium, and is still in the acceptable soil range).

Watered all 3 today pH in was at 5.7 so I ran with it.
Runoff of plant 1 was 6.48, plant 2 was at 6.52 and plant 3 was at 6.58. I figure 5.7 or 5.8 in will get me in the ballpark of around 6.3 or 6.4 within the next few waters.

That's good, you'll see some good results in a day or two,

Fingers crossed. Lol. The new growth is not showing any symptoms what so ever, the older leaves are still spotty but nothing else seems wrong. The growth also has resumed to full speed. They were topped but 3 days ago and the fastest growing plants new nodes are 2 inches tall. Which brings me to another question.

This plant in far larger than the pot its in. i would say 2 inches or so outside the edges. It has only been in the new pot for 13 days. No roots are showing in the bottom of the pot yet though. I've already done a few successful transplants and have had good results. This just go's against everything ive learned and read about when a plant is ready for transplant.

So should I just leave them in the 1 gallons until I see roots or can I transplant them now even though I cannot see roots?

Hey, You can transplant when ever you get ready ,I don't think you gonna hurt a thing, just be easy, you want even slow her down if your gentle.

                        #15
I figured they were okay just a question that popped into mind. I figured Id ask. Kind of a good thing they're not ready. Im out of room in the 4x4. I tried kicking the flower tent on today but kept blowing the circuit. 3800 watts of light, 2 fans, 2 humidifiers, 6 control modules, 2 4 inch inlines and 4 6 inch inlines running at once was too much for the old wiring to handle. So today I ordered 100 feet of wire a new 20 amp breaker, a new junction box and plugs. Plus I ordered 2 clip on fans and 25 feet of ducting. so i should have the second tent up and running in 10 or 12 days. Ill hold of on transplanting til then.

                        Thanks Again.
