Hello all first time grower here just looking for some trouble shooting help and some advice. Criticism is worth more than compliments so don't hold back..
So here is here is a breakdown of what is going on. I've got a cherry pie plant going from seedling, it sprouted on Oct. 25th. It is having some drooping issues and coloration is significantly lime green. As you can see both in the first picture pretty clearly. I leave for work around 3pm and it's fine then get home around 1030pm and it's drooping. Seems to be everyday since I transplanted it a week ago into my final pot. Just wondering what thoughts might be.
My set up and routine is as follows.
water starting ph - 7
soil starting ph - 7
room humidity - between 55% & 63% RH (Inkbird & Humidifier controlled)
Room temperature - between 77.5° & 82.5° even at lights off (Inkbird & heater/vent controlled)
Light - 460 watt 8 bulb T5 ( about 6 inches from canopy) 18 on 6 off
Oscillating fan on 24/7
As for nutrients I've only fed her once with nutes the rest has been with straight water up until final transplant. I micro dosed as well being the first time feeding her. Nutes as follows.
Advanced nutrients line - micro 1ml per gallon
grow 1 ml per gallon
calmag 1 ml per gallon
maxicrop seaweed - 1 ml per gallon
mad farmer vitamin b1 - 1ml per gallon
1oz Turbinado sugar dissolved
ph down - 1/2 ml
Water ph final - 6.2
Run off - have not checked yet
Foliar sprayed once with heavy 16 night of transplant.
Here is my analysis.
Lime green coloring, I'm thinking nitrogen def. or first time growers worries. maybe a little bit of heat stress I was showing some canoing as well before I got my temps under contol.
Drooping - As for watering I have a 3 in 1 unit (pos if you ask me) i do use it for a rough estimate of soil moisture level. Do not think its over or under watering. Just showing moist after 2 days from watering. I also think i transplanted a little early, to small a plant into to large of a pot. So ive been just watering around the rootball prolly roughly the same size area around as the plants widest leaves as not to over water and waste.
My final question is I tried my hand at the fim technique last night (see pic 3) and was just wondering if it looks like I cut enough. I cannot tell if i hit stem or just got leaves.
Thanks everyone in advanced for your help and feedback.
