Here we are at day 53 from seed😁 At day 53 from seed sprout: First installation of LST, plucked a few, few lollipops, had done some topping.
Aurora indica & White Rhino from Nirvana and Borderline from AMS. They are a tad bit pissed but they will be up with retort tomorrow.
Also beginning staging my test growing genetics for the_honeysticks....Shortly mixing my platinum Cyco Coco coir and perlite. I may rinse my Coco this time...Last batch was not as clear as in the past in drain to waste....Still chewing on it. Still have time as not ready to go into flower yet.

Also: just finished up the #2 grind of 3 months steep for Arnica Montana oil ( great combined with high CBD material).

alltatup I get the organic flowers 1lb bag from mountain rose herbs. I use organic extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil and grapeseed oil....Equal parts. Grind the flower in the Cuisinart , fill the large mason jar almost half full with flower then pour the oils to about 1.5" below full.shake the shit out of it and put it in the sun getting window. Shake/burp 1x a day for a month. Strain the oil out, grind fresh batch of flower and put the oil back in...Shake/burp another month. And do the same for the 3rd month. The 3 month steeping makes it "work". In WW2 soldiers were given Arnica pills for pain and inflammation.
I have found over the counter Arnica but they were over priced and not effective.
Paracelsus I am eager to look into your link and thank you for supplying it. I know Mountain Rose Herbs makes their own oil ( for $25 for 2oz) but haven't tried it.
Again ,it is common to find Cannabis/( CBD) Arnica lotions & potions. I have been unwilling to invest the grow of that much CBDcannabis...Thus far 😊
1 pound arnica is 100.00$ and I use it all in the 2 large jar 3 month process.

Tika FYI I checked with my local organic supermarket at Integral Yoga they have fresh Calendula and Arnica @$100 a pound , the calendula was full of buds

There's some disagreement whether Comfrey should be taken internally, and I know many people have taken it internally for years. It does contain allantoin, which is good for you. It also contains pyrollizidine alkaloids which are very bad for your liver.

I'm definitely not as well versed in herbal medicine as you guys, but I do know about pyrollizidine alkaloids and livers. In low doses, the liver can handle it. But repeated doses over the course of time could add up.

Just ordered Horsetail (Equisetum haymale) for flower arranging and guess what?!?! It has medicinal values!
So glad we are up and running again.
Now off to do preflower devil. Will probably flip during the weekend. Eager to germ the HoneyStick seeds but not eager for the rigid 12/12.
Also may establish a new veg space....More later on that impulse.

Did some defoliation, added a few more LST wires, fed their transition feed for the 2nd time and added 5mls Liquid Kool Bloom. The two Jock horrors are still up on the deck- alive and fed. May or may not bring them into the tent for flower.
The Borderline xtrm is one bushy girl...Reminds me of my love/hate relationship with God bud.
Tomorrow is another day (I hope) for all of you a good one😊

Germinating 24 Regular seeds for genetic testing tne_honeysticks,.Moved my 6 plants to flower tent flip, and moved the outdoor Jock horror to wagons yesterday.
The electric company is paying for my 4 fluorescents and surge protector in full.
A good productive weekend and now....On the weekly hamsterwheel🐹🐹

good morning Tika I use a company called alanticspiceco.com they sell bulk dried herbs ,my wife does teas ,tinctures,,baths and stuff . they have a sister company in Cala I believe, did you know a tincture of calendula rubbed on a scar daily will make it go away over time

Update: plants 67days old. ( 2 Borderline X, 2 Aurora indica, 2 White rhino) 5th day into flower tent. Short and bushy as promised. Typical FU one plant missing in photos but 5 pf 6 represented along with the 2 Jock horrors outside wagonette. Broke/ snapped a cola on one so wired and Gorilla taped it back...Should be ok....I hope.
It does amaze me how the plants respond with up-grasping hands to the LEDs...They reach- not stretch...They love it. Currently 18" above canopy.
Humidity around 48...My fingertips are thoroughly split and throbbing BUT plants are good.

As I said in honeysticks post...A long weekend with strange weather. Tent ladies are doing good 15 days from flip, have to feed after work, regrew their fan leaves a plenty, lots of sweet little bud sites in the stretch. Feeding ideally every other day 1.5 per 5 gal pot...Demanding beasts. The 2 Jock horrors maintaining the outdoor life as best I can provide- since we had Mimi snow flurry , 55mph wind, and 35 degree nights...They are pissed but vertical. Will see them through.
Ready for some silent conversations with my plants😊

I gotta learn how to make tincture and edibles. After 50+ years of smoking my lungs are giving out!

That’s my primary motivation is to have enough quantity and quality to produce edibles I am so tired of smoking. Imbibers that ignore the damage they are doing to their health by smoking when alternative healthier ways to ingest cannabis are available to us seem as ridiculous to me as the people I see standing outside their office building Smoking in Sub freezing weather, especially the ones that work in hospitals, that really drives me crazy.

PuravidaC I find the high in edibles very different than smoking/vaping. I always cough from both/hate that but prefer the high. I can't eat my own cookies...I gift them. Tincture I like and gummy bears ( little ones) I like too. It's a pain in the ass but once you get it down you have stock inyour freezer. Cookies + all in freezer/ preserves trichomes.
Cookies - my plain sugar cookies...Yield about 13 dozen + ....With 2+ ounces bud/kief mix to 1.5lb unsalted butter, slow brew in Crock-Pot.
Gummies call for working in time with the heating after decarbing ( kind of like working in watercolor-gottastay in the moment) .
Tincture easy & good on all accounts. Main thing is to have the goods to invest.
Also: metabolism / tolerance...What rips one has little effect for the other. My hardest bud critic loves my cookies, hubby stoned for 2 days on 1 large bear but grins through 1 cookie. Go figure.
In anycase- I believe currently the key is in quality + quantity of goods and decarbing those goods ( kief takes less time) and over decarbing is a nono.. I still do old fashioned oven decarbing . allowing for further decarbing while baking and heat/stir of gummy bear stuff.
Lastly: I know brownies are a favorite BUT I prefer to concentrate the goods in few and simple I gredients ( less stuff you add the more potent) as well as adding granulated soy lecithin (not to tincture) facilitates the THC absorption measurably.
I just ran my mouth again...Imagine that!
If you want the cookie process I will write it out for you.
