Morning guys. I thought I’d post some pics of my progress with this girl. I ended up topping it down to the third node when it had 7, She’s growing slow but I think she’s doing ok. This is my first so I really don’t know. I had some over watering and ph problems. I would like some feedback/insight as to what I might want to do next and so on. Thanks guys

Thanks Euro, great to hear. I hope your right! Do you have experience with doing this? What should I do next? I’m kind of just playing with it.

I wouldn't fim it anymore. With that lst. Stick to topping, you'll get a much more even plant and more even light distribution in flowering.

if you do want to fim, do it on the alreadt LST branches. They'll limit your outwards growth and help the core a bit, while still providing 3-5 branch sites.

after my first grow, I'm sticking to LST, generally makes it easier to guide your plant. FIM is unpredictable. Put in the time and you'll see results.

Thanks, I didn’t actually fim this plant as I topped lower then where I attempted the fim in first place. So really it’s a once topped plant that is starting lst

Bluebudz I'm going to say something but don't get pissed off ,I don't understand why you would spend time, effort and money to grow 3 seeds that have a 50/50 shot at being Males ,if you were growing 100 plants then it becomes cost effective. Its not just you I see it in alot of posts I just don't get it, then again I am a old Jar head lol so if you could share your thought process.

I have a Quart baggie half full of seeds that I used on my first grow I poured a handful of seeds on a paper towel and away I went, I ended up planting about 50 of them and I think I got 4 females cause I stressed them early

now don't get me wrong . Some strains are worth the effort of growing male/females and I do have some of those . I had a male big bud in with a budda tahoe, super silver haze and a kush plant. and I have grown all of them, in fact I have 5 plants from the budda Tahoe that I now call limpin louie growing now 3 in bloom and 2 in veg I did have 1 male ,I thought I caught him early but alas the plant next to him is showing seed sacks lol ,so far its my favorite strain

Again I meant no offence just trying to understand others

Because they are free, available and I’m just trying to learn how to do things. I likely won’t put these into flower as I do not yet have a carbon filter.

And I do not need it for medicine. It’s just a hobby I’d like to get into because I smoke it recreationaly and have always loved growing stuff.

What up everyone. I have a funny story... well I guess fim got its name somehow! The plant I started this post for I tried to fim and ended up with a top. Low and behold I went ahead and just topped this one and I think I’ll get at least 3 branches so I actually fimmed haha
