Thanks Green. So is it too high or too low? My last feeding was right at 6.5. I like the Solo cup grow...very interesting.

I just read your Blackberry thread! Wow dude...i didn't know you were that good! You trimmed the crap out of her and she responded beautifully. Of course, I want to be the best grower that I can be, so I would be honored if you would assist me on my next grow...you have me very curious about autos now. What strain would you recommend for a rookie such as myself? I would like to follow your Blackberry technique without the SCROG. It is very cool and everyone loves it...so cool! I was always under the impression that plants needed all the fan leaves for energy, which is why mine are so bushy. Is it too late to give them a big trim and get rid of most of the foilage or is this good for photo plants?I also have been pinching instead of cutting the older fan leaves. Also, did I make a mistake in not cutting the lower flowers off? Sorry for all the questions, but my mind is kinda blown right now lol.Originally posted by Green75 View Postthe color looks like bad ph to me..does not appear to be light burn or stress...the leaves would of curled up on edges to first let you know light was too close

I would not suggest major removal of fans at this point...just every day cut some out...here and there...till light hits bottom..don't want to piss her off right now....I start real early really early...so they know no different....you train anything from birth they know no different....teaches them to work harder and not be lazy.

Photo...auto....strain...don't matter to me...all the same

Thanks man....they do all the work....I just listen

I use large saucers -although I bring them out of tent to water. However I have also used shop vac lid on regular 5 gal bucket to do the job.
Also move one plant out of area, put into large saucer, drain to waste into 5 gal bucket by pouring out saucer. Replace into smaller saucer when done. Then I take the bucket of waste and feed it to something outside since we are in a drought.Indoor- Coco coir & Perlite - 5 gal Smart pots
