Already chopped...posting pics in a sec.

Well done Mr Green. First grow done an dusted. Some stunning buds, I bet you aint stopped smiling.

It was mad reading your diary, I could sense your stress lol.
I've been growing 5 years and I stress as much now, if not more than my first grow
Guaranteed every grow the missus gets a strop about my stressing. Every time telling me it the last.

    Its all part of it.
I try not to let the plants now that im stressing. Coz they'll sense it.

    Any way, enuff for now.

Awesome result, keep up the good work.

    Over an Out

If you see someone without a smile. Give them one of yours.

Thanks man! I tried not to stress too much. Always calm when I get near my lol!

When will there be...a harvest? (In my Isley Bros. voice lol!) Why today of course! Got to chopping around noon today. 5 1/2 hours later, I was ready to hang! Trimming was VERY tedious (in a good way), but I actually enjoyed watching the buds take form before my eyes! The ladies are now hanging in my tent at 73 degrees with 37% RH. I'm thinking I'll let them hang at least a week. I want to thank everyone who has participated in this journey with me! The things that I've learned are invaluable and I anticipate my future grows to be awesome as a result! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

It really does! It has been a twisting and turning road, but it was all soooo worth it! Thanks for all your help!

So it's Day 3 of drying. My temp is at 75 and RH is at 35%. The buds feel dry on the outside, almost a little crunchy, but not brittle. I squeezed a few of them and they did not crumble. I think I made a mistake in using a fan for air circulation instead of using my humidifier...I think my humidity is too low. I just turned the fan off and the humidifier on. My question is,,,do I jar them now for fear of overdrying? I read that it's easier to remove moisture than it is to add it back. I'm almost done, but I want to make sure I don't make any more big mistakes.

I think you're on track. If they feel completely dry on the outside then I'd put them in jars. Like you said, if they're still wet then you can dry them more in the jars, but it's more difficult to put moisture back in. If you think you may have overdried them, or are worried about maintaining the correct humidity in the jars, you might consider ordering some Boveda 62 packs. They are specially made for storing/curing cannabis and will automatically regulate the humidity in the jars for you, which can make curing a lot less stressful!

Also, congrats on a great harvest!

Coming from you ladies, that means something! Thank you! I'm ready for my next grow!

Beautiful man!!Really nice looking buds and frosty!!I would be happy for my first time if something like this comes up!!Also 3ounches is quite good considering 400w/2 = 200g for people that aren't beginners, you hit a lil lower that half of that so i would be jumping in your case!!Also in mine if i get 200g (i have 6 plants 4 hydro 2 soil.5 of them are topped out of which 4 are manifolded)! And yes, with my 600w MH/HPS i would be graetful.

Now get us a smoke report duuuuudeee!!

OK so the buds are jarred. I got a full jar of Medical Skunk, a jar and a half of White Thunder and a jar and a third of SK1. I also got some shake while I was jarring...so I smoked it. To be honest, they weren't bad to be uncured. All three smoked very smoothly with good aromas. I got a nice body buzz and slight head high. I can't wait for the cured versions! I ordered some hygrometers today. I'm going to get some B62s to help with the curing since I think I overdried a little.

Well guess who's back? Finally got released from the and all is getting back to normal. Turns out the VA mistreated me and I had to go to a real hospital to be taken care of properly smh! Anyway, here's an update. I'm a little stressed and disappointed, My babies have been in the jars for 13 days now and they don't smell right at all! They have this weird sweet, woodsy type smell (not ammonia though). They don't smell like anybody's weed. I hate to think that I spent all this time only to mess up at the very end. I believe that I over-dried them. I had my daughter put the B62s in there on Saturday. They are not as crunchy as they were before, but I don't like the smell. I open he jars once a day for about a half hour. I was going to let them go another 5 days and see what they smell like then.

Welcome back, MrGreen!! Glad to hear you are out of the hospital. What is the strain of the weed?

Glad u r back in the fold.
i would get a second opinion sniff test by another person if you can.
ckeck with loupe/loop for molds if you don't have one..back to the previous threads here..get one.
and don't smoke any til then.
not all my jars smell the same of the same stuff and maybe your sniffer is off due to stress.
want to hear from the Majors on this!
