HELP! White powdery mildew

Hello, just wondering what I can do about this freakin wpm that keeps coming back to haunt me.
I have read high humidity, too many plant together or leaves touching can be the cause of it.
It's a 4x4x8 tent, 600watt hps, 6" intake fan, on a 3x3 grow tray with 5gallon fabric pots. 20 gallon water reservoir with air and water pump. Drain to waste, throw the excess water outside. I now also have a veg tent 2x2x4, 300watt led with no problems so far. Can someone pleeeeeeease help mmmeeeeeeeeee????? Thank you for your interest, thoughts and time!!!

What are the temps and rh in your tent? Do you have any small fans blowing over and under the canopy?

Can you afford a good sized dehumidifier? They do produce more heat, but I have mine set up to blow the hot air into the hall, out of the grow room.

Without knowing your temp/RH, it's hard to make any environmental recommendations- as indoor WPM is more prevelant in lower humidity/low temps (I got it @22%rh and 68f) and outdoor WMP thrives in high heat/humidity.

I had wild swings in temprature/humidity at the time, but unsure if it was contributory.

With either WPM senario, I defoliate the affected plant(s) - outside of the tent (if you can), then spray with baking soda or potassium bicarbonate solution and return to the tent.

Increase AIRFLOW to the plants and work on getting your environment tempered- closer to the mid range for the stage of development you are in with adequate light on affected area's.

Be mindful that once you spray sodium/potassium bicarbonate- it may leave a white spotty residue on the plants. (It's not back)

Pick up some SM-90, although WPM is unlikely to return if you correct your environment, it's nice to have SM90 on hand.

Mine never returned, once I corrected the AIRFLOW/Light to a dead corner of the tent.

Airflow isn't always about more, but making sure all plant leaves move in the breeze.

weed pharma is right about airflow I have a 5x5 room and I use 5 6" fans from the top to the bottom I keep it going I've tried bigger fans and they seem to blow to hard foe the room. I also spray on a ten day schedule Neem oil and green cure I use a gallon sprayer ,if some is left over I dump it out, both items say you can spray and harvest same day but I wouldn't advice it.I have also read that if you have enough cal mag in your plants then wpm cant get started on your leafs because they are to thick

Does anyone know how to make cannabutter ? I just burnt over an ounce in the butter and had to toss it. I watched all the videos on u tube, and it looks easier than it really is.

I decarbed it fine, then it all went down hill from there. I threw it in the pot with 1 lb of butter on really really low heat, and it burnt in less than 2 hours. pure nugs B(.

Hey fisher, that's exactly what I would do, ruin it, that's why I'll continue to smoke my bud, I'm not a very good cook in the first place, I'd have nightmares if I burned up an oz.of choice bud.
Maybe one day I'll learn how, but I doubt it, smoking has and continues to do a great job.

Hey fisherman! I actually just made an amazing batch of butter, made rice krispies and planning to make brownies with the rest! Did you use the stove top method? If so did you use clarified butter, or did you just put the butter in the pot?

Stovetop and regular salted butter and just in the pan. I guess I forgot to add water, is just one error

Salted butter is your second my friend. Always use unsalted butter. Also, you have to decarb your weed first in the oven before you make the butter. I peraonally did it at 215 for 30 mins then 220 for 20, but my weed was also very fresh. And id also say to clarify your butter (boil out milk solids and added water) that way, your butters smoke point increases and you wont have to use water. Also the benefit of using calrified butter is you wont lose any thc to the water and the more fat, the more thc that can bind to it. And if you have a element heated stove, keep the heat literally at 2, nothing higher. Make sure your using a pot, not sure if you meant pan as in a flat one. I've literally done years of research trying to make good cannabutter. Finally succeeded. A good tool to have if you have the funds is a magical butter machine. Thing is awsome. A bit pricey though i paid 260 canadian. If you want some help jus private message me ill try my best to help you out step by step!
