NebulaHaze I have read your website from front to back. When I started this hobby your website stuck out to me amongst all the other choices of knowledge I could have gone by. you get right to the point and you hold beginners hands to get them through complicated things. So thank you for all you have done for the people that wouldn’t have a clue on some things if it wasn’t for your site . Anything I say that sounds like knowledge towards growing was because I learned it from your site or it was already common green thumb knowledge . Now all that being said, when you look at the picture of the leaf I posted , what are the first thoughts
that pop up? I know I’m not listing all the variables but I just want to see what a professional thinks at first glance , thats it .... it could help trigger my memory on what went wrong too .... Thanks Nebula!

Evening CB, not trying to cut in or anything but with all that reading you would see where Nebula has said to take pictures in good light.
No one can see the picture clear enough in that Led light.
 
You’re not cutting in , it’s an open forum! But man.... just look at the second picture posted , you can see perfectly the weirdness I’m trying to show. The leaf is like a ballon that has been blown up for weeks and has deflated , and been left stretched and out of shape . I can see it perfect , take another look ;) I guess I could have taken them out of the Grow tent tho to take this pic... but unless you are blind, you can see the deformities I’m trying to showcase lol . Your not wrong I could step my picture taking game up a bit, but when you assumed I didn’t read the section on plant picture guidelines , well you just became an opinion , and I’m noticing lots of people have them around here, but yet very very few have turned up useful.
 
After some relaxing and reading that I had forgot about, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve over watered these plants
at the seedling stage and caused a bit of root damage. The
leaf in the second picture looks like root damage from over watering . I did over water a little bit at the start , trying to keep a water schedule that worked for me. But I’m just guessing here lol
 
From what I can see from the 2nd pic I will offer a couple other things to research.

Russet Mites or maybe Boron. Both make leaves appear like that.

But all I can really say.
 
Both of these have popped in my mind. I kinda am looking away from the mites because another plant that had the same issue , is starting to correct itself after two feedings with only water now. Tomorrow I will flush and get the regular nute schedule back in gear and if I don’t see improvements I’ll try some neem oil or russet pesticides of some sort. I just hope it’s not bugs , but if it is I will be able to correct this early. Russets have been in the back of my mind this whole time, but I’ve thought I had russets before and it was an iron lockout in the end , on a previous Grow. I’m sticking with over watering still. I think the roots are sick , well I know they are ....
 
Boron is actually a huge possibility considering the time of year , where I have the tent, and my forgetfulness watering schedule I had at the start of this Grow lol , either way I’m getting further away from thinking it’s russets 😂
 
Hey Cober, yeah,people put up pictures in led light, but they don't tag Nebula, ain't trying to start no sh-t here man, I was just saying you can't see anything in that Led light, which is exactly what Nebs gonna tell you.
What's so hard about turning your light off, or take a picture when you take em out for watering.

And trust me, I ain't blind.either.
Plenty of other opinions out there.

Here and her website helped me so many times.... my mistake if tagging isn’t appreciated but I am having a problem with my Grow , to where I wasn’t gettimg any advice I liked so my brain instantly thought about how she may be involved with the forum so I tried a tag and it worked , if you had helped me over the last couple years with growing I’d Big you up just the same man ..... I apologize on the blind comment, it’s just your comment came at a time where I wasn’t looking for criticism on my forum etiquette. I’m not in here to step on any feet man , so again I apologize for saying you are blind. In the end someone was able to see the picture and push me towards Resolving this problem anyway so it all worked out. I’ve never met or spoken to Nebela but I will remember patience for when I think to tag her next time for help 😂 I’m smoking a bong for both of us right now DAAS for us getting off on the wrong foot , hope we are cool bruv , I was just crazy this weekend as I’m watching my plants die.
 
Aint no problems, but it's hard to see anything, but a crinkled leaf or two in your pictures, I've grown plenty of Indicas that have hada couple of crinkled leaves, never any problems, what does the new growth look like ?
 
😂😂 that’s all your supposed to see is a crinkled ass leaf. I know what your saying though I’ve seen indicas do that to but this is more intense then that. The plants have russets I discovered after a long long look with a 40x loupe and a flashlight
 
Thank you for that CoberBrandon, since I lost my eye and Desert Storm it's been really hard for me to figure out problems in unnatural light with one glass eye. Can I ask how far you keep your light from your plants? And how big are the pots you keep your plants in? Do you use fans and do they blow on them? Thank you for giving me a chance to "see" your plants please be patient with me in my response as I'm not only missing an eye but an arm so my typing is slow and sometimes bad grammar
 
Well.... thanks for serving in the Gulf,
I have kept them an exact 18” and on Friday I actually raised them to around 24”.
There is a small 6” fan that doesn’t blow at them too much at all , pointed one way. With a 6” intake fan coming in the other direction , the intake fan is attached to a carbon filter on the outside of room , and I have a 6” intake taking air out the top of the room also attached to a carbon filter. When the problems started I had transplanted into a 8” container and now I have moved them to a 3gallon pot.
 
Thank you CoberBrandon for your understanding and compassion in your response. since my last PTSD attack I've been afraid to talk on here with some of the comments I've been seeing about grammar, no information having, asking us to go read their other threads and what not, I have better things to do with my one-armed ,one-eyed ass then to helping someone that just wants to talk s***. I can already tell you're not that kind of person and again thanks for giving me a chance to help.
Here's what mr. Furley thinks.
My first inclination was that your light is too close and you got light burn I am not an LED guy but I understand that 24 to 30 inchs is a common number for those. The twisting of your leaves could be also happening due to a pH problem in your roots zone, I noticed reading your other thread that you don't have way to test your pH, if you've moved your light up I would see how that affects your new growth but I would definitely get your pH in check. Now as far as pot sites goes sometimes plants that get root bound can also have this problem but it sounds like you got them in a new pot so they should be okay. It sounds like you have good circulation and a handle on your fans so it wouldn't be windburn which was another thought I was guessing on. One more piece of advice from mr. Furley, that Miracle Grow perlite you're using could be the source of your problem although I think it's light burn let me tell you why Miracle-Gro is not good for cannabis I don't care what any other growere says that perlite has their product in it! the reason that I'm saying this is because I, like you bought some from Walmart, used it through a grow and had Twisted leaves as well not excluding other problems I would highly suggest that you don't use that product anymore that's just my opinion on it but you're free to do what you want with it.
