I use to be over weight and my Dr sent me to a nutritionist many years ago. She turned out to be an obese young woman. We both had a laugh.. But now the TV commercial for the freeze dried veggies and fruits in a pills have a guy who has worked in the nutritional industry for 30 years but just realized he wasn't eating his fruits and veggies. :silly:


Good thing he can just pop a couple of freeze dried servings......
 
I have a glass Xmas ornament gifted that looks just like that face/head. No, I have never bought nor worn a pug-face t-shirt though.
 
Old furnace, gas valve but would need a kit with control board for $800 and then something else could go wrong or $2K for a new furnace. 3Berries Rwise

It got down to 63 overnight, awake most of the night, one 'radiator' oil heater, two pugs, one cat, extra clothes, in bed. The repairman actually caught it not working today. It blew heat once, the sun came out. He turned it off, the sun left, probably until next week. It's running now, letting it heat up to 72 and hope it'll fire up again before I can get it repaired/replaced.
 
Same here. Waiting to see how long it takes to ignite and blow right now. Needs replacing, older than I thought, probably not worth sinking $$ into fixing. I find the cat laying on the floor registers, waiting for hot air. I wheel the oil 'radiator-looking' heater from the LR to the bedroom in case it gets too cold.
 
Wi-fi enabled fruit, toilet paper, pillows, shoes, condoms, feminine hygiene products... fu-king everything wi-fi enabled. You know who I'm looking at, people.

For Christmas someone gave me a Bluetooth enabled coffee cup that can keep your coffee or whatever beverage you're drinking at the perfect temperature. I was like WTF, I don't need this, if my coffee gets cold I'll just heat it up again, or hell just drink it cold like I always have. It sat in the box for days and days And then finally a few days ago I felt guilty about not at least trying it before I got rid of it, so I revved it up.

It's. Fucking. Amazing. I never knew how awesome it was to keep a cup of coffee the same temperature throughout the entire drinking session.

I'm sure some social media company is now collecting data on how much liquid beverage I drink everyday and what types, and will send me targeted ads about it. Is it worth it? Hells yeah.
