wt size of net pot in bebbleponics has to do with plant size

I use 2 inch net pots and they service good size plant

I have been using 3.75" net pots and I am not sure if they are big enough for larger plants. So far all of my plants have split out the side of the 3.75" inch net pots due to the root masses getting so large. I suppose it is a matter of how much room you have to accommodate the plants size and how long you have to veg. I have a post about net pots splitting out on this forum. My roots have a 3 gallon res. lots of root room so far no net pot breaking out.

I have 6" baskets in my 5gal buckets, only first grow but looks to be working nicely.....

I've used 5 inch and 2.75 inch in 5 gallon hydro set up. I have never had either size split. The bigger pot is more stable when they get top heavy.
