Worms

Any experiences with growing with worms in soil? Ever seen anything bad happen?

What kind of soil are you using ?

I've done it, no plant problems, sometimes the worms die, just become real good compost. If your using really good composted dirt, or living dirt, the recipe is on the GWE web page. Your worms will be happy and great soil engineers.

Sprinkle a tiny bit of vodka on the compost heap, the worms come up to taste. LOL

Hi...I use worm castings from my vermicomposting bins, and for sure there's always a few live ones that make it past my separation process. Never has been a problem, they just continue with their good work in the pots, adding more poop! 😊

i ask bc i have them in abundance and they're free...

I put in a hand full when I start the seeding. I separate them the best I can so they can make more worm castings and baby worms in my casting tub.

Worms are for compost and should never be killed or placed in soil.

No worms are harmed in my grows. They just do what worms do aerate and build soil. A major part of the living soil concept, along with the enzymes and microbes.
