Hi all. Im a newbie , go easy. I am having a drama , i cannot get my super silver haze to flower and this is my 2nd attempt. First lot i tred was in a hydroponic reservoir in clay balls/hydroton. In a grow tent. I was usung dutch master gold nutrients. 2x 1000 watt dual spectrem led lights. Always kept ph spot on. They grew beautifully. Looked healthy But as soon as i went 12/12 on the lights i could not get them to flower. I let them go a good 3 months in flower and all they would do is grow.i pulled them and tried again but this time is soil in hydro. I have had the exact same thing happen again. I am frustrated and at a loss. Could it be my lights? There is absolutely no light leaks. They are femanised seeds.

Don't worry we are all easy going folks. Can you post a picture of your plant and the plant in the setup?
have you double check that your light timers working correctly?
 
having so much Sativa in it, it might benefit from trying 11 hours on, 13 off. Sometimes plants need more than 12 hours dark to start flowering.
 
Hey Buggs, welcome to the forum!! That is so WEIRD!!!! I haven't got a clue as to why they won't flower, but I'd sure like to know.
 
I know you said no light leaks but its gotta be Lights .I had the same issue in my bloom room except the plants were already in bloom then went back to re-vegging, it turned out to be a timer that ran slow it was for 2 small led lights, I've also read that it could be as small as a the green led power light on some fixture, I had one of those on my C02 meter, put some tape on it

do your lights have a veg/bloom switch?

how big is your room? you said you are using 2 1000 watt leds could that be to much light?

Ill get some pics when i get a chance. But definetly no light leaks. They are in a dark room and inside the tent also. The only light there was was power switches for the led’s but i have had tape on them from day dot. The tent is 2400x1200. With 2 x1000w dual spectrum led. They dont have a switch for veg/bloom. From info i got when i purchased them they said they done both. Has 8” inline exhaust fan , the fan that brings fresh air in and also have oscillating fan in there also. I wont rule timer out completely but i have gotten up throughout the night at different times to see if they were on but as of yet they seem to be staying off for the duration. Ill try the 11hrs on and 13 off again. I did try that the first time but they just kept growing. Lol. Thanks guys.
 
your Light does not need to be on all night just a couple of hours I think the veg/bloom timeline is 14 hours, Have you stood in you room while dark, Hmm this is a challenge,well figure it out
 
Very strange. Try no timer for a couple of weeks just to be sure it's not timer related. Use a phone alarm and try 11 on, 13 off like OZBud suggested. You need red and far red lighting to flower so check and make sure your lights have them. You should have at least 30 watts per sq foot of true watts. What is the actual power draw at the wall on those lights? What about light height and room temperature?
