Why two plants from the same seed strain seem so different

Looking for some insight into what I am seeing … in the picture you’ll see two plants, the closer one seems to be having issues while the one in the back seems perfectly happy and healthy. I do not understand why. These plants are the same strain I purchased from Royal Queen Seeds, Northern Lights, planted and have gone into each stage at the same time. Each are treated exactly the same, watered with the same water, inside the same tent, etc.. The plants now are 8 weeks old, almost to the 2nd half of flowering, these are auto flowering plants. Why the closer plant has all the markings of a possible nutrient issue or maybe to close to the lights. I have used the guides to ensure the distance is appropriate and use a tape measure to validate the distance from light to canopy. DLI is 45. Any thoughts on my issue? Let me add, when mixing nutrients I add the nutrients one at a time, mixing throughly and then set the pH. The pH has been set to 6.2 and 6.5.

thank you in advance for reviewing. BTW, I have searched this site and compared the sick plant library for comparison. Just not sure what I am dealing with…

Your issue is one plant is not up taking calcium or magnesium due to a PH issue in the Medium or water. A mobile nutrient deficiency. A single genotype can have many phenotypes, your structure looks similar.so PVI are close.
 
I agree with Mike, are you feeding them both out of the same jug? Sometimes different pheno's of the same strain want a different mix. What are you feeding the roots? healthy roots dont care as much about the little things
 
Yeah two seeds, two different plants with different needs. Think about people, same parents have 3 kids and they are different and have their individual needs but all similar, they came from 3 different “seeds.” Plants are the same shit so the only way to have an exact match is a clone or twin (it happens rarely in plants). I’ve grown 5 of the same weed strain once before and had 5 different plants in all their own aspects. It was a really cool run to see that and then I picked the best one to clone and save.

I grew dogwoods from seed once and had multiple twins out of 100 seeds. I’ll try to find a picture. That was a fun experiment! 💚 🪴 🧪
 
Trying to answers the questions… all great points I did not think about…. My understanding of pH is off as I thought I was providing the appropriate range. I’ve been really tight on the pH range for this grow. As far as watering, yes, out of the same 3 gallon bucket, which is stirred prior to collecting the water in a red solo cup and feeding. I did add calmag but I believe not enough since I lacked the confidence I was on the right track to adjust properly. I will make up appropriate pH water tonight for tomorrow’s feeding. I will shoot for a 6.8 minimum. Thank you again for the feedback. Most appreciated.
 
Are the seeds from Nirvana? They are notorious for changing mothers & fathers along the way and keeping the same strain name.
