Why I use 12/1 lighting

Hey guys just wanted to show off how fast my plants flower with 12/1 lighting. Flipped to flower on 3-18! Only two weeks into flower and looks like beginning week 3 lol.

My only problem with 12/1 is it makes cloning take longer but it's possible. Let's just say I'm glad I took 24 clones even though I only needed 12.

Pic of whole tent won't upload. 2 skunk#1 and a gelato. pic is of a skunk#1. In a 4x4 tent with a 640 true watts quantum board. Fox farms ocean Forest soil and earth dust dry amendments.

12/1 is 12 hours on, 5.5 hours off, 1 hour on, and 5.5 hours off. Through your entire veg period. I don't do it on seedlings.

Sorry Cloud , I'm a little slow this am; how do you use 12/1? Are these Auto? I'm running an experiment now on photos with progressive reduction of light time every two weeks. This Saturday at end week 6 I will drop 1 one more hour to 9/15. I don't have a control plant going this time so I don't have a real comparison to 12/12 but I don't see any faster fattening than I would have expected at this point so I'm not sure yet if this theory is valid. In a later grow I may continue this just to verify as I've seen a couple other posts confirming my current results. 12/12 is obviously time tested (no pun) for good results but experimentation is fun anyway. Ya never know until you try, right? Someday I might invent a better wheel, lol!

I don't always get the fat colas with this method in flower but quality is always on point. I mostly like the veg part of 12/1. I'm probably gonna keep my lights at 11 on 13 off this grow.

Also these are photos not autos. Autos I do the recommended 18/6 or 20/4.

My last two grows reducing lights to 8/16 kinds like you didn't have fat colas but got nice dense nugs coated in trichomes. Most dense weed I've ever grown.

My last harvest in February. These are 3 run Homer using 12/1. In flower I started at 12/12 and took away 30 min of lighting every week until I got to 8/16.

So why do you do it? Sounds like a nightmare trying to keep on top of that schedule to me.
‘Only two weeks into flower and looks like beginning week 3 lol.’ Not really much a difference between a week of growth

Not really a nightmare to adjust the timer it takes 2 seconds on a Friday. Saves a few bucks in electric, less stretch after the flip, and a week may not save much time but it's still saving time. In veg I get just as good growth or better. These plants only vegged for 4 weeks. Had to flip because running low on weed. Winter grows are small and I may have smoked to much.

Right there with ya Cloud still they do look great. Doing short veg on some photos now in the bloom tent. Running all fall and winter trying to get enough before the heat starts and outdoor begins.

Haha yup I'm doing same thing. Just started some seeds of green Crack, wedding cake, more 3 run homer and I took a bunch of clones.
