Just realize that I have whiteflies on my budding plant. I've never dealt with these little bastards before, any ideas or suggestions to get rid of them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
We get them outside really bad in one tree in our garden every summer. I make sure to always shower and change clothes before going to the tent if I've been outside.
 
don't know how any of those go on buds, I see some are no good for buds but there's no mention about buds on others. Someone else with more know how will probably come along.
 
Looks like Spinosad concentrate is recommended... question is, has anyone use this??? I don't want my buds to smell or taste funky..
 
I think I remember reading LuckyAcres used it a while ago for thrips??? Not sure if that was in veg or flower but he might be able to shed some light

I just wanted to throw in another vote for Spinosad! It's pretty effective on thrips and won't affect the smell or taste of your buds, and is harmless to people and mammals. It's made of a compound found in certain bacteria, and you can use it both on your plants as a spray, or in your water when watering them to kill bugs systematically. You can find it at most garden sections (they definitely sell it at Ace Hardware, I saw it there today) though you need a mister to get the best coverage on your plants :)

Hey there, spinosad is all good!! Follow label and you're fine. As a precaution I always wash my buds after cutting them in Jorge cervantes hydrogen peroxide bath(about a cup of peroxide for 4-5 gallons of water). Good luck!
