🤔, I'm of the belief I'm being baited into a joke, oh well..here goes!
Where the name implies that it will stay white, it really is simply that, a name. Checking for maturity comes down to using a loupe in order to properly see the trichomes and how "mature" they are. Depending on the effect that you are after you may harvest at different points of maturity, most look for Cloudy/Amber.
