White Widow Auto problems

Overall I'd say it actually looks healthy, and a good size for its age. Although auto-flowering plants start making pistils at week 3 or 4, they still grow vegetatively until week 6 or so and that'll use up a lot of the Nitrogen. It actually looks like you're pretty much on track! The only tiny thing I see is that it's a little droopy, but still pretty healthy and it'll be a lot harder to over water as it gets bigger, so I wouldn't worry too much about that :)

Yeah, it's me again, overthinking and overzealous...

My plant starts forming pistils at increasing rate now, but still counting on some veg growth as NebulaHaze suggested.

So apparently when it comes to watering plants I am some kind of an idiot, because I can't seem to get that right...
The new leaves started looking kinda puffy and sides tubing under, the older leaves seem flatter and more 'normal'... I guess I am still overwatering then.

I will need much more time until I learn it... when I use the top inch/two inches soil dry method, I don't seem to get the watering right.
I then used a second pot with identical soil mix (I had leftover) for reference (weight method), but so far could not tell much difference between ~60% dry pot and freshly watered plant pot (after runoff slowing to flow)...
I then got some cheap 'soil humidity meter' as a last resort, as expected it is utterly useless, totally inconsistent.
I'll get it eventually, I just surprise myself that it gives me such hard time

The single leaf pic looks like pH fluctuation, however this symptom is pretty much only on that one leaf, maybe slightly on another one, both touching the soil...
Both soil and runoff right now clock at about 6.7 pH...

Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

I use the cheap 3 in 1 meter for moisture only-
It took a few grows and some frustration, but the meter was right and once I got it figured out and followed the meter- my watering issues were gone.

Here is what finally worked:

Place the meter's probe about 4-6" into the soil (about the root ball depth): I've actually drilled holes in the side of the pot, at that depth for consistency.
If the reading is @#2 or less - then check the pot weight- if the pot is heavy - leave alone for another day (usually). If the pot is light then water.
If the reading is @#1.5 apply the above in about 12 hrs.
If the reading is @#1- water the plant and assume you can not tell the difference in pot weight.
I use 2 and 3 gallon pots.
It's easier in 2 gallon pots for some reason, but works in smaller ones too.

Sheesh I figured the same in the beginning, but then I thought the calcium is probably there, from the soil, the dolomite lime and the tap/mineral water I use, my plant is small... GWE problem diagnosis page suggests that most element deficiencies are due to improper pH blocking absorption or perhaps root problems (constant overwatering, thanks to me)... I guess I wouldn't be that surprised if it was one of the NPK trio, since in my understanding those are mostly drained from soil, and I am stubborn still not to feed any (artificial) nutes... If I add more dolomite lime, I will bring the pH further up...

I guess until there are more widespread symptoms I am gonna just cry a little bit over the troubled parts but push trough the pain and think about motherland...

Weed Pharma that sounds like a good idea, probably gonna get such meter, the one I have is some 'no battery needed' version, didn't trust it from the beginning, but there was nothing else at hand... what are the other 2 in 1? temperature and...? EC/PPM?

Also, after some reading up, I am not so sure anymore if misting the plant is such a good idea... (apart of course form my obsessive compulsion to overwater my plant) could someone weigh in on that? If misting deactivates pollen/pollen sacks, does it have any negative effects on pistils and buds?

The meter I have does not have a battery- was under $10 and just took awhile to be able to correlate to cannabis growing!

I don't generally mist seeds/plants (these are not orchids)- exception being, clones before they have roots.

Not having all that much experience myself I have learned a few things since my first harvest. spend a few bucks and get a good ph meter and ppm meter. Log the ph and ppm when you water, and then gather some of the first run off and check it there as well. You will then have a record of what goes in and what comes out. Use the weight measure method to tell when to water. You won't hurt the plants if they get a tad too dry, but you might if they get too wet!

Weed Pharma lol, I have the same thing just two seperate single needle devices, without the light sensor... My humidity meter does seem to produce quite differenet readouts on every probing tho...

Sonnyhad I am pretty much planning to do that, gotta read up on the ppm examination tho. I am waiting for the reference pot with no grow to dry out to the bone because so far they both seem similar weight to me whenever compare...

So I was whining and complaining about little stretch, and boy, did she stretch with the flowering start :p...

Not without problems, more and more leaves show some discoloration, some leaves have tips burnt, other still show a little bit of the claw, a couple are yellowing entirely, some have some spots like in calcium deficiency, most new leaves look kinda puffy and tubular...
Started feeding lower pH water with some dolomite lime dissolved in it, only did one watering like that so far... Waiting for TDS meter to arrive soon...
I guess my no nutrient policy is finally taking it's toll... I do have some PK blooming nutrient I got as a freebie but I am still not eager to feed it.
If I don't feed it to the plant, will it be really miserable and flimsy?
I don't know.
Well, she's not perfect, but (apart from indoor lamp grow) as natural as I could go...

As usual any suggestions or comments welcome, if you have any hints what I could do to fix her up at least a little bit appreciated too.

Cheers!

Looks like it's coming along! If you water until you get good run off you should be able to wait 4 days before you water again. When she is dry the leaves will be drooping, they will perk right back up after watering! Then you will know how to tell when the pot is light.I can about lift mine with one hand when dry and I have 5 gal pots.

Is this the same plant? Men.. you got it so bad! For an auto it took too much in any scenario..
Why did you lollipop? I won't believe that these heads will grow much..

Yes You should feed with phosphorus and maybe some molasses

Fuckin thing looks aweful...throw it out and start over...next time feed it nutes.

Looks like a starving sick kid...

Good luck with it man....

Shit can get frustrating.....

So where is fan leafs? Why did You take them off? Yeah... go till the end but give some candies for your girl.. as she will suicide her for being not loved!
