White ash versus black ash

I want some now!

Alltat if you smoke right out of the jar say 62% it's got moisture and it won't all burn and be black leave it out over night and it dries and turns white. Thats the mystery you're looking for I'm sure. in fact all you want is the thc off that flower so the leaf is just not needed but helps hang on to THC Have you vaped before? Look whats left when you do LOL

Other ways to tell if flushing could of been done better...crackling noises when put to flame and hit on..real strong immediate cough as soon as you light and start to inhale...

White ash is not tell all really...just good indicator

I've hit some real smooth weed that did not turn white so who knows...

Perfectly dried and cured bud WILL always produce black and white ash. But if it where completely dry it would be just white. But that doesn't make it a better bud. You can do a little experiment to understands better. Take a rolling paper and burn it with the lighter. The ashes should be just white. Then get another rolling paper and lick it all over. then burn it and compare ashes. Anything not dry enough is gonna end up black and carbonized. Just like the process for wood to make charcoal. Even on a bond fire you can see dry wood burning perfectly leaving behind just white ash. And the very green and moist wood burns irregularly leaving dark patches and creating smoke

Ha, ha, ha!! Dudette is cool, and I do have a bicycle. Sir Green, you get a gold star for paying attention!!! Oh, heck, I'ma give Karlee a gold star too...

Karlee, I vape most of the time, but when my buddies come over, I stuff those cones. Gotta pass the CB (caucasian blunt). I am expecting company tomorrow, so I will leave some bud out--in a cool, dark place, and prepare the bong and cones for major ash production. I trimmed all my buds before I dried and cured: see my bud from my first grow? Next one will be much bigger, dog willing and the creek don't rise...

I don't hear any strange noises, but I do see little fairies and elves flitting all around the room... I'm leaving some bud out tonight to see if that makes a difference tomorrow.

Your picture looks delectable my dear! To be on the safe side - Kiss the dog and buy some waders! (dog willing and the creek don't rise...) I love it!!!!

Just as I was smoking some of my recent harvest. Not flushed right. I only actually flushed once and I had no leaf discoloration. Also is not well cured yet. But I put a cupple of bud in a container with desiccant and rolled a joint. Look how well it burns. And the ashes are completely white. Well dried buds grind well and burn well = white ashes

Lovely! So do I understand correctly: 62%RH is good for cure and long term storage of bud. But it needs to be dryer than that for best smokage. So did you use one of those little dessicant packs that comes in the vitamins?

Yes that's the kind of container. It works very well until it stops working. On the RH I wouldn't exactly say certain percentage is better than another for smoking. But definitely burn better after a few hours in desiccant. Curing needs that little moisture left to occur. But to smoke a little bit in the meanwhile it works great.
