Which marijuana seed banks do you trust?

Thanks Nebula, great to hear the story behind all those lanky mystery seed plants.
We just put a Nirvana mystery seed outdoors at my friend's place, hopefully it's a good one.

Do you happen to have any pictures? I'm collecting pictures of their recent Mystery Seed plants because I'm going to contact them and ask them about it.

I definetly got 2 very Sativa dominant strains with my freebies. This girl in particular is very leggy. We'll see how the buds turn out. But I also got a couple of very indica dominant strains as well. One of them is the best in the tent at this point.

the only place that i've ever gotten unlabeled free seeds from is nirvana. and that's their standard deal--10 free regular seeds--and has been for a long time so i didn't expect anything different. seedsman labels their freebies as do bonza and cannapot.

I attempted to germinate my first Bonza seed (one of the free bees) The seed did not germinate or even try to do so. It was one of the free Bonza seeds from my order. I will report on the next seed when the time comes.

I need to make an apology to readers and Bonza. Bonza order came late and confusion about that order and another stealth order. Me Bad. Tried to post this earlier but did not accept it. Bonza gave me 6 extra seeds all marked and nice varieties. They were terrific

Happy Easter!

I've only ordered once, from True North. Overall, good experience, but with a couple of dings. I picked them because at the time (end of January, I think) they were the only ones accepting CC online. But when I got to check out, and they threw the double freebies and no 7% fee, I took it. I mailed them an international money order. Online tracking didn't work all the way there and back because of the border crossing, but it took a few weeks, not too bad.

I opted for stealth, and read that they will send you a free t-shirt or something. Rather, they sent the seeds (freebies marked, yay!) in baggies, no schwag, but this surprising note.

So I started a Moby CBD and the Auto AK in Feb, both doing well Those had cotyledons above ground within 48hrs of dropping in shot glasses, then rapid rooters. But the next 5 turned out to be duds. I tried to germ 2 Dr. Shivas and the Asian Dream freebie, and 2 Grand Daddy Purple Freebies.

Has anyone else had to deal with True North for bummer seeds? Is this a lot of dud seeds in a row? I know it could be me, but I'm using the same techniques that have given me 100% success rate (n=5, before these guys) so far.

Mate of mine has had some from attitude intercepted by customs. Got his reship but said stealth wasn't overly great.

That's no good :( it's fair to mention Australia has the same or more immigration/smuggle problem thanthe us with the borders. Just against asians. They're freaking paranoid and super good at their job. I once connected a flight in Melbourne and they tested my clothes and belongings for explosives and drugs.

MSNL has been very dependable. Ordered last Sunday beans arrived next Saturday less than1 week from the Netherlands freaking cool. 😎

Hey Khan, I would email them and let them know that X number of seeds were "bad." I think all of the seed banks have notices posted on their websites that read like the note you received, but when I emailed SeedSupreme and told them I had a boy seed, they immediately credited my account for the price of the seed. If TN can't do that for its customers, then I'd switch. I have had nothing but top service from SeedSupreme.

Thanks Tat, I'll call them today. If that's a standard, CYA thing, I get it. But being my first order, it didn't quite fit with the legendary Canadian niceness, the surprise is unsettling.

By the way, I didn't drop all those seeds at once. It was 2, then when they didn't pop, 1 more, then, did, 2 more... duds...

We actually added them to our seeds page since lots of people have been getting great experiences with them, and we were very pleased with our order :) We'd definitely love any more input on MSNL from other growers, too!

That really sucks :( I second the suggestion to contact them. I personally like the paper towel germination method when you're worried about the seeds just because you can easily tell if they're showing roots (which means they're running into other problems after germination), or if they're just not germinating (which is a sign it could be bad seeds). I've also had really good luck germinating in someplace slightly warm as opposed to cool. They think it's the sun :)

I was going to send them a email as well. If I get a good strain that I've never tried before I have no idea how to get it again :)
