Ok so I'm buying some new fans.. the 8" Apollo I got is the biggest pile of poop ever,. Out of the 3 times I've had it replaced I don't think it lasted but 3-4 months.. was thinking of getting either a hurricane, vortex, can fan or a hyper fan, really leaning toward the hyper fan because it has the temp/speed controller U can get for it, which I know they all have them but it's made for that fan.. any suggestions ? What r some of you guys experiences with different fans .. which did U like the best and or not like the most?? Thanks for your opinions

this is one of the fans I have it has been running for 8 months now the one thing I do is to make my exhaust run as short and straight as I can that mean if you have ducting hanging down its to long if you have lots of turns its will act like it was a much longer run so keep it as straight as you can ,you can find pictures of my filter fan in new grow room its not ideal but its the best I can do giving the layout of the room

I agree- and I run the 6" version - no issues (I have to turn it all the way down- most of the year)

I run a 6" hyper fan with the thermostat fan speed controller. Works great. I set the idle fan speed at minimum, set the temp I want and then the fan speeds up if it starts getting too warm. I don't have to worry about temps getting too hot during the day when I'm not around.
Although I've found that if I want it my tent to be a max of about 25C I have to set it to 24C, sometimes on hot days the temp rises quickly before the fan roars into life and the temp can get about 1-2C higher than the set temp apart from that I have no other issues with it. Highly recommend the hyper.
