Where do you place your temp and humidity sensor?

I just moved my temp/humidity sensor up to about where the highest leaves are, and my temp jumped from mid-70s to low 80s. The humidity fell significantly as well. It’s not a surprise, I suppose, but it does make me wonder: many of us are vigilant about the temp and humidity in our grow areas, so where exactly do YOU place your temp and humidity sensor?

I have a ac infinity exhaust system and the probe hangs same place as yours. Top of the canopy, center of the tent

One inch below top of canopy out of direct light and where the fan won't directly hit the sensor for most accurate reading. Not sure if that is right, but that's what I was taught by someone on here.

I have multiple heat and humidity sensors in different places in the room controlling heater/AC/humidifier etc and I just mentally factor in the appropriate settings based on location. While a heat sensor at the top of the tent is useful for max temp it doesn’t tell you what the temp is at plant level under the lights so that is one thing to factor in. I find the fans can spread around heat and humidity as they oscillate so I generally have my sensors slightly offset so they are not in the way.

On a related topic I really like the Inkbird sensors you can check from your phone and see temp/humidity trends over time on charts. They are not that expensive and are amazing for peace of mind and planning. I am not associated with them in any way, I just like them.
