Where do you get this hose

I got a piece today, from the local hardware store, Ace is the place. ask for vinal tubing, they sell it by the foot.easy peezy.

If it's a standard water pump (and it looks exactly like mine so I think it is) you are looking for 1/2" Vinyl Tubing. If possible, even if the label says 1/2" vinyl tubing, double check that 1/2" is the inside diameter or I.D.. Sometimes for some reason they'll list the "outside diameter" or O.D. as the number, which you don't want to pay attention to! If possible try to find tubing that is stiff, since it will be holding up your manifold.
Unfortunately they usually only sell this type of tubing in big rolls, and you're only going to be using ~5 inches at a time so it'll be overkill
You can sometimes find it in the pond section of a store like Home Depot, and all the other places people have mentioned The cool thing about getting it from the hardware store is sometimes they'll cut off a custom sized piece for you so you don't have to buy the whole roll at once! Just be aware it may be a little tough to fit on the water pump at first, but once you do it'll fit like a glove!

I'm blown away by everyone being so kind and thanking time out of your life to respond to my post! You guys and girls are great..
The picture I put up was from your top fed dwc cannabis setup guide. So it was your water pump. Lol. I just highlighted the tube becuSe I just wanted to make sure that was on the things I was buying online.
So I just finished setting up the hydroponic system!! I pretty much went verbatim on the instructions you posted in the dwc cannabis setup guide.
In the the setup guide you say to germinate the seeds With everything, sans lights being turned on. (When I say everything on i mean with water flowing and so forth.) I have also read on this site that you don't want to get your seeds too wet while germinating. I'm using Rapid rooter instead of the cubes. My watering hoses are touching the rapid rooters about half way up. I'm wondering if the water hoses are too high up and will drown the seeds. I'm attaching picture of my situation. Thank you and have a happy 🎃.

The main thing is to look at the Rapid Rooter itself. It shouldn't have a sheen of water on it. It should look and feel moist but not wet. Too much water can drown your seedlings. If you're worried you can turn the water pump on for an hour at a time to make sure the Rapid Rooter stays moist without worrying about giving too much water Once the leaves have opened up above the surface the water pump should be on 24 hours/day. At that point you don't need to worry as much anymore, as the stream of water will actually guide the young root down into the reservoir

I grow DWC and just started some seeds it all looks good . What are you growing? and light size, tent or room and everyone can answer your questions better. First grow is your learning to get everything right Ph is the best to learn right away. You'll do great you've read the important stuff now you have people to ask!
