When to switch T5s over to LEC

I’m currently using a couple of T5s on my sprouts that have just come up from seed. I’m curious as to roughly when I should switch to the LEC? The T5s are Sunblaster T5HOs with Nanotech reflectors.

Dont be timid, folks I’d be happy to hear your timing for switching to hps etc too. Just need a general sense of how long to use the T5s before I turn on my real grow lights

I use t5 ho too...for about the first 10-15 days, then I switch to metal halide (1000w) and I....grow in Coco nowadays and the little ladies grow taller much faster than in soil. (It's crazy noticable)

So after a week or two they start to get so tall that the t5s aren't strong enough to reach light beyond the top few inches. Hope it helps us and best of luck!

Also I grow autoflowers so my switch times on the mh to hps would not be relevant for you.

Hi s62 real nice startup. What's the distance on those t5? I use them and a cfl get them within few inches of the top. Keep them close so they don't stretch to much at first. I use LED at about wk 4 under the big lights just blue/white (veg) light. Looks like your growing autos. I'd hit those after 3wks with your big light those grow quick at first. Watch the height of light what the manufacture says about distance. Don't worry others will chime in soon I know they have the same light those 315 LEC real popular. I don't have that light. You can do it
