When to switch out mh for the hps bulb?

Got some photo plants been in 12/12 for 8 days starting to show lil flowers. When should get the flower bulb switched in?

If you are already flowering for 8 days go ahead and switch them if you feel. Some people say wait like 2 weeks for the full stretch. It looks to me like you have plenty of room. A little extra stretch in your case wouldn't be a bad thing. It will elongate your nodes and give better light directly to bud sites. You don't have a ton of foliage anyway. Just my 2 cents.

They're ready, before I change to CMH they would go straight from veg to flower, in other words right from a T5 to HPS but you're good do it man. ☮️

Hey Joe, lots of folks switch around day 10, now would be fine, some even switch back to metal halide the last 10 days or so before harvest.
Nice plant.

I just recently read about this, so in my small grow box I'm going to hold off on switching the bulbs until 10 days into 12/12 because I DON'T want a lot of stretch.
