When to flower. First time grow indoors.

Ok been watching a shit ton of YouTube grows(all great) been doing a ton of reading here and other sources.(great support and communities). I got 5 babies growing in a 2x4 grow tent I don't have a bigger space and don't wanna screw this up. 2 questions I wanna take clones. Should I? I wanna flower because i think they are getting to big for the space. I try and keep track of progress on YouTube so here's my recent post from yesterday. Comments here or there would be great. I do have a 2x2 tent setup with led for clones incase that's an option.

Cool video..they look great..they are ready to flower...they are just waiting on you...of course take clones if you want to....won't hurt them at all....your leaves.....there are so many and so big and so stiff and noisy....I highly suggest some defoliation on those girls....a lot....let the light shine through whole plant....get some better bud sites going before the flip....you mentioned you want them to stretch....nahh...just bend them down and tie them off to even out canopy and make plant short and wide...keep trimming fan leaves their whole life....keep the light inside the plant don't block it out.....

I'm a major defoliator with my $.02 to offer....
 
Thanks I appreciate it. Being from MA and it being legal now lots of people I know are growing and between the few I know, we have screwed up a ton. I like to make the videos to maybe help people not make the same ones I do. I do plan on removing a lot of the big stuff liked you mentioned. I could only get so much done. I did just feed the a veg mix. Should I trim up tomorow and do a bloom feeding next week. I kinda wanna give them a week to recover from the leaf loss. Any thoughts?

I do all major trimming on water /feed days...I'd wait at least one...give time for the light inside to do some work before the flip...I'm talking major defo...chicken bone them ladies...
 
When a site offers two leaves.... take one...if both are big take both....

Check out any grow of mine to see what I mean...the four ladies one pertains more to you now
 
Another thing....I don't recommend foliar sprays for feeding....they need to eat from their roots to build great root mass and also when roots don't eat much you can get nute build up in medium...
 
Your leaves sound loud...ridgid..crunchy if you will...because they have trained themselves to intake water and have become strong and fat.....stop spraying and cut some fan leaves off.....

These are just opinions based on my grow style....it's not for everyone....till they try it...lol

Again plants look well loved and cared for...good job!!!
 
Thank you. I love any and all input. I am in this to learn and grow. Plus i stopped drinking after my time in marines so I need some outlet. Growing is an art and everyone does it differently that's what is so much fun for me.
