When to feed Auto seedling first time?

I grow mine in soil and have the mix pre-moistened so they get a lot of nutes out of the soil.
They grow so fast Jibblerjoe start em out anytime. I start at 1/2 strength on all.

I am on my first grow about 31/2 weeks in. They all germed within 6 days, I left them in the dome with the lid off for about another 6 days and then put into their final resting bucket, 5gal...DWC...The water in the buckets had the hydroguard and the required nutes from the GWE Sched.....Hope it helps Its coco, but I would think you should get going right away...There Auto's....Fast....

Auto or not, when you see the first set of leaves not the cotyledon, the seed only carries enough food for this to happen...then its going to need food (nutes) real soon or it will start turning yellow and die.

Glad to meet you William. It's been my hobby for about a year, and I love it. Ed Rosenthal begins his book by saying "Smoking cannabis is not addicting, growing it is."

Some people feed straight away, others wait a week or two. If using distilled/RO water then sooner is better rather than later. Tap water has at least some nutrients/minerals in it just not a great deal.

Wouldn't recommend starting out seedling at "any time" if you don't want a slight nute burn!I would call a week at least, others will say until it stands proud forming the 2nd node...

The cotyledon are designed to feed the sprout...I grow in a coco perlite mix and wait till about second node starts to show, sometimes longer depends on how green it is..
