COCO COIR when to clone??

my ? is when is the best time to cut a stem for cloning?? or what do i got to do to get her started?

indoor grow box (soil
40”h 28”w 28”d is my box
have a led grow panel 13" with full spectrum and 225 LEDS got 1 plant she’s in the end of week 7 in vegetation “Krippler”
im doing LST training on my plant
i have a passive exhaust system with a fan for air flow
 
Depends on what you mean by best time. Are you taking clones off a plant you intend to flower soon? Or is this a mother plant you plan on keeping in veg after the clone branch is removed?
 
Ok. You can take a cutting up to two weeks into flower. But they are best taken in veg before flower starts. Just make sure the mother is healthy before the cut.
So you cut the branch as close to the stalk it is attached to as possible. You want at least 3-4 nodes minimum on the clone. Get a fresh clean razor and cut the clones stem end at a 45 deg angle. If you can make that cut right beneath a node, that will work best. It’s not always possible you want the stem to be around 4” or longer.
 
I want to say yes...but if you had a picture of what you are talking about it would be more clear in my mind.

I see what you mean now. There were once leaves there, but now removed. Yes, this is ok. You want to remove the nodes from the bottom of the clone anyway. So no worries if that’s already done.
 
Here is a shot of one of my clones to give you a visual. You can see in the second picture how the lower nodes have been removed.

Saves the plant energy and you can fit more together closely. Conserves resources for the plant. They need to focus on making roots, not pumping water out to the extremities
 
I remove all the lower ones. Leave the top 3-4 max. I have removed everything besides the top before and it still cloned well.
 
ok i think i might have it now. now for the mother how long do i have to wait to put mother into flowering 12/12 after the cut??
 
If you are only removing one branch... she will recover fine and you can flip anywhere from a few days to right away. If you are taking a large amount of clippings, anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on how much of the plant you are removing and how finicky the phenotype is.
