When should I flip

Space Mints and Alien Gorilla Glue. 8 weeks since seed. Had a little drooping a couple days ago. Watered with nutrients yesterday and they are looking better. Still new and trying to figure out watering. Was just wondering when I should flip because I have limited space. My last grow I let grow bigger but was wondering if I could flip while a little smaller. The Alien Gorilla Glue plant is a small bushier genetic. I don't want the Space mints to get to big.

They look a little short, but if your grow space is short, you could flip it now. Maybe do a little defoliation to see the real size of them, plus it helps grow a little better with light and air flow to lower colas. The plants look great though. Nice, green, and healthy. The call is up to you, but they look mature enough to flip.

Yeah I only have a 2x2x5 tent...the space mints is bigger then the other one and I don't want it to get big that it's to close to the light

I usually end up with about (maybe, sometimes)6 to 10 inches of flower stretch when I veg a long time. Could be the strains I grow also. Very rarely do I (me) get a cultivar to double in size. A problem I would be excited to have.

I think it depends on what media you use too, but I dont grow in soil very often. Indica's tend to stretch less for me than Hybreds and Sativa's

Count on at least double the size when you get to harvest so I would start there and calculate how far away from your lights your top buds need to be to not get burned in the lights. You posted that your tent is 5 feet tall. I would think that with your light hung at the top of the tent you're going to need at least 18" between the light and the top of the canopy/plant. Your pot height is probably around 10". If you subtract the 10" from the 60" you have you still have 50". Subtract the 18" of space you'll need from your light and you have 42" of vertical space for your plant.

Your tallest plant, the one on the floor, looks like it's around 12" from soil line. Subtract 12" from the 42" you have available and you now have 30" of available vertical space. You can probably veg them another couple weeks before you hit critical mass and will need to flip them. I would've suggested that you LST them to shorten them a bit but your horizontal space is tight it being a 2 x 2 and the plants are going to get bushier so I would suggest a hard defol at flip to clear out some of the leaf material and get better light exposure and air circulation to your bud sites along with adding a bit of room for the plant itself
