When do u harvest

So I am just wondering when people like to harvest. I personally am into full cloudy no amber maybe a couple clear. This gives me the best daytime high nice and strong with out the body stone I don't need to be asleep at work.
Now my wife likes it with the amber trics so she can sleep at nite.
Where do u like your plants to be at when u chop?
It's cool to totally tune your high to your preference.

no harvest yet - all "clear" trichomes the plant need at least 1 more month (30 days) harvest when or should I say the harvest window starts when you see "cloudy" "milky" trichomes - and window last 2 weeks !

Usually when I see 70-75% of the tric's are amber in color......

I harvest when I see around 70% cloudy. If it's a good knockout indica like Black Domina or Afghan Kush, it isn't necessary to let it go to amber, right? Too much CBN can give a groggy hangover the next day...

I like both cloudy with no amber and then when their are about 30% amber it depends on what I want to smoke

I was wondering the same thing. I'm on my first grow and I'm not sure if they are ready or if they need more time. Can anyone tell me based on these pics? (Sorry for any duplicates, trying to learn how to use the board still lol)

You have a while to go. Probably a couple weeks at least. Most of the hairs should be orange, and if you have a Jewelers loupe or microscope to look at the trichomes, I believe the standard is 80% cloudy 20% amber. However,as you can see, everyone likes to harvest at different times.

I don't believe your plant is in the harvest window yet.

This is awsome I wanted to see if there was a consensus on the topic but it seems right now we all like what we like. And it's all over the place.

I agree with mcubed: you want to see a lot more brown pistils curled in, and you want to see them buds fatten up!!! Get a close look at the trichomes; everyoen's got to learn if they're gonna grow weed.

About 80% cloudy with just a few amber.

As soon as I see any amber at all, I start my flush. 4-5 days, harvest.
